@@markusaltenhofer5517Dustin was actually a bit more skilled than monfilis imo. Had he been able to stay healthy he would’ve been a solid contender. Monfilis play relied too much on his athleticism and didn’t work on developing skills and in game decision making and consistency

Carlos enjoyed playing with Gael so much he forgot it was a competition for the span of 3 games, then he remembered and won his last service game to love with aces to close the match. 😂😂 They certainly gave spectators their money's with with great rallies and athleticism.

Not sure this is true because he's played Nadal many times who hit a lot of ridiculous passing shots against him. Certainly the only match where it could be debated that Monfils was not the fastest man on the court.

@@loganthewolverine2030 Well Nadal, Alcaraz, Monfils, de Minaur, maybe Fognini are or were extremely quick (Nadal is not quick now any more, but he was lightning quick). Also Djokovic's and Federer's movement and footwork are very good

I think it was more the knee than the ankle. Monfils didn't seem injured in the second set, but maybe he was careful.
