He is just in a super groove now. Not quite as consistently accurate throughout as in the previous two matches, a weaker service game, and the kind of sudden concentration loss in game 7 that he has avoided of late, but overall he was still at an incredible level whenever he really needed it. Finally, one of the rare faults of Federer was his tendency to press and become defensive in pressure moments like break points and tie breakers, but Carlos is the exact opposite. He becomes fearless and free at those points, resulting in scintillating and (usually) successful play. What a player, and what fun to watch!

I think you're missing the one important detail that he's playing a formidable opponent who handles his game very well. This was not an easy match and I'm impressed I expected it to go three. I think you played marvelous and I think you're being overly critical and ridiculous

Carlos is starting to be more effective in general. That means less show, but more clarity in his game. The match of today was pretty regular from both sides, but what always leaves an impression is how opponents struggle against Carlos. If you looked at Musetti against Shelton, it was incredibly impressive, but Carlos did not leave room for Musetti to operate for most of the match except on his serve, which is brutal. I am actually quite interested in seeing how it turns out against Dimitrov. More experienced player than Musetti who can operate much better under pressure and has a better serve.

In this rate it will be hard to deny Alcaraz from a sunshine double. Sinner is still there but he has had some hiccups in the tournament while Alcaraz is just blow everyone off the court now.

Mmm, I love Alcaraz, but watching the matches, he seems to still have hiccups when being ahead in the second set, but he is reducing his UEs and his serve is generally better. I would say it is 50-50 with Sinner. But let’s get not ahead of the final, all players are playing in a stellar form right now. Let’s see :)

Medvedev also a threat. Miami courts are a lot faster than Indian Wells. These are the type of courts Medvedev plays his best tennis. Wouldn’t surprise me if Medvedev pulled an upset and defeated both Carlos and Sinner. Also Zverev is no joke, if he’s serving well, Alcaraz will have a lot of problems. Dimitrov doesn’t seem much of threat given how tired he seemed after his match vs Hubi

I'm happy to see the slump is over winning is contagious I think Wimbledon fried his brain and then the disappointment of Cincinnati discombobulated him. Indian Wells corrected the course You don't learn anything from winning You learn it from losing. He's playing as well if not better than he was before. This was a formidable opponent who not only he has lost to has seemingly given Carlitos a lot of trouble and he looked amazing out there.

What I love about Carlos’s game, is his use of speed, finesse, and blinding power to throw off his opponents timing. He has so much pace and power on those groundstrokes but is so adept at throwing in the most perfect , gentle drop shots and dinks which makes him very unpredictable. It’s so nice to see a young player with a multi-faceted game after so many years of baseline sluggers.

it is always 2 handers talking about stuff they don't know anything about. Musetti's bh wasn't the reason for him losing- he was simply outstrategized and outplayed by Alcaraz. Alcaraz is on another level. Shelton's serve and forehand is bigger than Alcaraz but Musetti easily dispatched him.

I really hope Carlos and Djoker meet again in Wimbledon Final 2024 and Carlos defends it. Hopefully that would make Djoker think about a possible retirement next year. May be. Rune thought he could cut it better in 2024. But he needs to pl outdoors well too. This guy is however, when not injured, belonging in QF, SF or F every big tennis event. He is both not boring n boring bc his tennis is 100 percently perfect by the most new prototype perfect tennis pl. Just think of everything possible, he does it frequently. It´s like we felt with Federer in his prime.. You just WOOOWS while smiling, this is ridiculous.. Federer and Alcaraz got this extra jawdropping style, execution, improvisation, game and talent. Nalbandian and Rune when 100 percently on has some of it too.. Sampras when on fire did ridiculous things too.

Nobody is unstoppable. Sinner in IW dominated him in first set and he would have defeated him keeping the same pressure in 2nd set, but he didn't and therefore Carlos won 2nd set. Then the slight injury by Sinner made the rest. But Alcaraz is stoppable as everyone. He'll lose a match soon or later, that's the nature of this sport. Even more likely when people or yourself think to be unstoppable
