You're right. Smiles from Carrie's hero Martina McBride. Jennifer Nettles mouthing "what a voice". But perhaps most satisfying (to me at least) was the approving nod from Wynonna Judd who once famously said Carrie didn't deserve to be where she was at because she was only a contest winner.

Brian Carrie is sang this song so flawless. Her beautiful voice and her vocals are out of this world. Vince playing the guitar was beautiful as well. The whole audience you could tell they didn't want this to end. Carrie can sing anything she wants, a voice of an angel indeed. She feels the music in her heart and soul. A beautiful soul inside and out. A kind, humble and classy woman for sure.

I totally agree, that woman has some amazing vocals and has just an amazing voice period. She sings it better than anyone that I've ever heard it sang by. With Vince Gill playing the guitar and singing along with her it sounds so amazing. She can basically sing with any artist and she has and I'd like to see her sing with alot more because it would be awesome to hear. She sings wonderful with Prad Paisley and she has sang with Aeorsnith and Randy Travis, Dolly Parton and Miranda Lambert and the list goes on. She just was blessed with a beautiful gorgeous voice and I'm glad she had made a career out of what she loves doing and sharing it with the world and still can juggle her family and all and that's not easy for her I'm sure. She now has 2 beauty kids and I'm glad to see her happy coming from a small town young lady now to a famous singer, song writer and artist. Sorry got carried away but I'd love to see her in concert someday soon I'm sure it Is amazing.

She does hit all those notes and I've never seen her miss any and I love vince singing with her in some songs and just him playing the guitar. I love how he played his songs and now sings Christian songs as well because that is a beautiful one. I remember hearing it in church on Sundays. God Bless All !!

God takes us only at his timing and he has you hear for a reason and he has kept me hear many times as well. This song gives me great inspiration through all the medical issues that I'm dealing with at a young age, but I know that God has his reasons as he does for you. My ex husband my first love was taken to Heaven 5 years ago this January and alot of family members as well. Their isn't a day that goes by that I don't miss him and I've always loved this song as I've heard it many times growing up in church. Carrie by far sings this song with the voice of an angel. I've also always loved that saying "Footprints In The Sand" because God is always there and he is one that will never leave or forsake us. Our God is a very forgiving God and I pray that everyone comes to know him, before this world would be a much better place. I miss my Grandmother, she was a God fearing woman till the day she went home to God. Our God is a very forgiving God as we're all human and makes mistakes because we're human. We all are children of God and he accepts any of his children that are saved into his kingdom. With God all things are possible and through Jesus Christ our Lord we will have eternal everlasting life. No pain, just pure joy and happiness and I pray this song touches all the hearts of everyone listening and even those who aren't. This world could be a better place if everyone knew our God and what a great God he is. He died so we could have ever lasting life. They're isn't anything that God can't do.
