I meet Carot Top at the Ip in Biloxi. He drank a Patron neat and was super nice to the bartender (me). I asked him how he was doing? He said I'm great, asked how do I like working here? I love meeting people. I later watched his show, just a normal, nice person incredibly talented.

Howie, I gotta say. I grew up watching Bobby's world and always appreciated that part of my childhood. But, I have to say, since doing this podcast and becoming family, this is the best version of Howie in a long time!

15 years ago during a San Diego comicon I was working at a retail establishment in The Gaslamp district and Carrot Top quietly sauntered into the Valcom store while I was standing outside. Nobody else in the store except for the clerk, and Carrot Top AND then me..... I politely approached him and asked, " Mr Carrot Top can I have a picture with you? And he was so sweet to say yes! It was taken with my flip phone so I have lost the photo but definitely not the memory. 🧡

Hey, and "Eat And Greet" is actually a great idea (as an alternative to the normal "Meet And Greet"! Partly because of the action of having something else to do (people can drink and nosh, etc.) but also the name itself is catchy and kinda fun.

Okay, now… Here's my take on why I try to back in everywhere I can, when parking (and it's logical): The deal is, on one hand, it's so much easier to leave… It makes the pleasure, as it were, of leaving quickly for AFTER your visit to wherever. But then there are two even more important reasons: 1) You don't have to back out of that supermarket parking lot, for instance, and risk hitting either another car ALSO pulling out (I saw that happen recently… It happens) AND much easier to avoid hitting a person, including a child (that you might not see very easily when BACKING out of the space). 2) ALSO, one is less likely to hit another person or car when backing IN, if one is careful about it, because with in the rectangle of a parking space, there are rarely cars or people in back of you (in that space). So, it's maybe just as difficult as far as maneuvering, but you're less likely to hit a car or a person when backing INTO a space as opposed to the reverse. (It sometimes is tricky to not hit the cars on the right or the left, but if you're careful and slow about it, you should be good.) I do know that there are rare situations where, let's say, in an apartment building, they will have rules against it, so that you don't blacken the wall with your exhaust. But I haven't seen too many signs in recent years to that effect, in parking garages. Of course if you have a full EV or even a previous, should be no problem with the exhaust :-) FYI, in my experience, it's certainly not to show off at all, in fact, but to better prevent accidents and have more fun when leaving a place 🙂

The final thing the woman freaking out on the plane said was that she thought the man sitting next to her stole something. Instead of simply looking for it she freaked out and then found the item.
