@@moreira8967 considering the fact I have a 2000 yqmaha roadstar 1600 that I've done far worse than what's in this video yea. I've had the same engine for the past 13 years with only minor work like gaskets and a few exhausts from melting them. Engine is still going strong with 76,800 miles on it. Had to replace the carbs and do a few fuel treatments to clean the jets and valves from carbon build up

@@ssproductions790 thats a very low stress engine , does not have the tolorences that these inline 4 engines have, you cant compare that to that, these engines wont last 40,000 if they are treated with bouncing of the limiter for 10 mins regulary.

@yo lo Take the vehicle. Put it in highway. Floor it all the gears to the redline until you hit the highway speed limit. Then stop and repeat that. Or floor it on the city on 1st and second gear almost to the redline. Then your engine will be clean. It needs to have oil and water to work perfectly

High exhaust temp usually means lean running engine

On large ships running at full ahead, it is the exhaust gas temperature that determines the RPM. With engines designed to run 24/7 for 30 years, burning the exhaust valves is not an option. The RPM can vary on every batch of fuel. Since these ships run on heavy oil, maintaining the correct injection temperature is an important factor.

People don’t do this. Well they do but the general populace of riders actually buy their bikes to ride them. Go over the bike you’re looking at thoroughly. If you’re worried about someone previously doing shit like this to the bike you’re looking at, there will definitely be neglect somewhere else on the bike. Fluids, break pads/rotors, tires, chain. these dudes are morons i guarantee you they don’t know how to do even the simplest of maintenance to the bike nor do they care to. Used bikes can be reliable just gotta know how to tell if it was taken care of by lookin at it.
