A friend of mine has a Toyota Camry Hybrid taxi that he was forced to sell by Sydney Taxis because it had reached 1,000,000km.

Literally the best £200 car in existence! That thing is amazing!! Those 1.9L VAG Turbodiesels are truly indestructible if you care for them. Put another clutch in that thing when the clutch goes and I'd bet you could drive it another 500K miles.

I'd actually love to see a resto series on this car. Like, if it's in the surprisingly good condition that it's in, a resto on it would be fantastic. Keep it going for another 500,000 miles.

I had a 2007 530i loaded with 490,000 kms and drove great. Still had tons of power. Started leaking coolant from pump and I sold it 1 year ago for $1600 CAD or about £1000

1: These three guys buying any cheap car that isn't a Miata is just so much fun - they really are UKposts's Top Gear 2: 500k miles is pretty amazing, and that 1.9tdi has so many perfectly running high milers. Something about that engine is just generally... strong 3: I'd love to see a high mileage hero series, and maybe in the future, a buying challenge where all three guys buy/research their own cars, then compete against each other. Very Top Gear, but this format is just perfect for that. Anyways, keep it up, and stop buying MX-5's 😂

That’s a decent car for 541,000 MILE AUDI!

I bought a tired 02 gttdi 130 golf two years ago. Tidied it up and drove it for a year, sold it 8 months ago when it was very tidy. 220000 on the clock. I bought it back two months ago (wrecked). Broken back axle collapsed front suspension and absolutely filthy. Two weeks solid work and a second hand axle and TT front end and it's back in good shape again. 230000 on it now.

Cars that have that kind of miles in the United States are on their third (List of parts like transmission engine) But most do not get there because their wrecked or vandalized by that point

I'd love to see this car fully cleaned out interior, engine bay, exterior and a decent service (hoses, fluids, filters etc)

We have a 2017 toyota kluger fleet car with 80,000 km's and it is still really good, and hopefully should be getting an upgrade to the 2017-18 model rav4 as a replacement for the work kluger, it's fuel range is okay but it usually gets around 600 kms on one tank

So when's the Ellie Goulding X Car Throttle episode gonna be out? Since she was first on scene to Jack's accident!
