I appreciate how you recognized the gloves would get her upset and found alternatives so she remains calm.. you understand how cats are anxious and yet you are being professional in trying to help the cat.. i've seen SO MANY aggressive vets and I get so mad as to how the force the cats to do it their way.. Continue to practice in love and in the best interest of the cats.. I'm sorry you got hurt because of the scared cat in their defense and you are a very kind vet to know its' part of the job..

As a vet student we learn not to pull or hold the back of their neck, is not a good way to keep them steady. Use a towel technique, it will protect you and won’t hurt the cat. Pulling the skin like this can cause trauma, it’s just how I’m learning now. Also the cat warned discomfort by the movement of his tail and ear position. I hope this helps in any way! I see lots of your videos and it’s really nice how you handle all situations with calm. I hope you search a bit of what I said! 🤍

Salut, j'ai bien aimé cette vidéo. Ce chat avec du caractère, ça m'ennuie pour le docteur Tugay mais c'est mes préférés ! C'est juste que les animaux ont très peur chez le vétérinaire et ils essaient de se sortir de ce mauvais pas. Les pauvres ils sont un peu comme moi chez le dentiste 😂

Tugay, make sure you get that scratch checked by a doctor! Cat-scratch fever is not much fun: it put me in hospital for two weeks. I had both Pasteurella and Bartonella cultures and was very sick as a result.
