My family fostered a pregnant cat. We had her for a couple weeks before she gave birth. I was going to the bathroom one night, and she came in, laid down in front of me, and gave birth. I couldn't believe she trusted me that much. I kept the mother and 2 kittens. We still have these cats, and the mom cat is the most affectionate cat I've ever seen.

The mom cat went through so much pain. Thanks to cat owner who was comforting her. I even cried seeing the struggle she went through for her first kitten.

We have a momma cat that had kittens just 5 1/2 weeks ago. She almost lost one. The last one came the next day and it got stuck. She struggled so bad. My husband gave her belly rubs and helped calm her down. And when he felt her pushing he helped her push. At first we thought it didn’t make it. But I saw it breathing and yelled to my husband “it’s alive! This baby made it!” We named that one Lucky and he’s one of the biggest now.

I feel like the owner did a good job encouraging her and that if she actually needed assistance he would have given this. He clearly loves and cares for her very much. He even moved the kittens so she wouldn't hurt them by accident while giving birth to the remaining ones and placed the one who wasn't yet cleaned near her for a wash.

Omg. I've seen mother kitties give birth before. This labor was by far the hardest to watch. She struggled SOO much, and was in SOO much distress. More so than I have ever witnessed before.
