I am almost 62 years old and have never witnessed a cat giving birth. I have had all males cats in my life. My stomach hurt watching this poor girl each time. What a good mama!

Cats make the most wonderful mothers. Each one is cared for and loved and mom makes sure of this. God bless her and her little loves.

Finally an intelligent educated person who let the mother cat give birth by herself. No messing with her, no annoying her, no interfering with her. A healthy cat is completely capable of birthing by herself and taking care of her kittens and it's wonderful that you understand that and aren't trying to mess with what she's doing. After all the pain they caused her, she immedietly hugs and kisses them, who else but a mother can do that?

It was nice to see her owners give the mother privacy and not interfere with the birthing process. It was also nice to have the father there. The poor thing was so exhausted..giving birth to 6 kittens..all healthy thank God. Never interfere with the birth unless there is a complication. This video was beautiful and thankyou for sharing.

At the end Mom is exhausted but her babies know where to feed-the absolute miracle of birth! It never ceases to amaze!

My goodness, with each of her little cry, I was on the edge on my seat. It is so tough. It reminds me vividly what my wife went through when giving birth to our son. Ladies you are angels.

Oh my gosh, that was the cutest thing I've ever seen- that kitten hung on to that teat for dear life while mama moved to a more comfortable spot as the fourth kitten was on its way.

My cat Pepper gave birth a week ago. It was her first litter. I wasn't sure where she wanted to give birth in the house so I made up four comfortable places where I saw her nosing about. Perfect privacy and quietness in every one of them. Well, when the time came at 4am in the morning she jumped up on the bed and headbutted me to wake me up. I covered my head with my arm because she rubs her dribbling mouth on my mouth and she was not my wife who was actually sleeping next to me and cat dribble if I'm honest is not that great. But I appreciate the message. She gave a weird kind of me-ow and headbutted me hard but there was no dribble so I knew something was up and it was her time. I have kids so I know how to get up on demand. Pepper led me downstairs to open the utility room door which she assured me was where she wanted to give birth. Personally, I thought she chose a one-star accommodation in comparison to the other places I set up. I just think she made me get up to open the door as cats hate closed doors. Pepper gave birth to four kittens in private and was the happiest cat ever. A week later Pepper had a change of mind with her choice of accommodation for some reason. In the middle of the night, she decided to upgrade her accommodation above her station and she took her kittens up to the end of our bed. We woke up to a purring cat saying well here I am with my family and aren't we all happy now. Kitten's pee where they are for weeks and I can tell you only a closed-door would evict pepper and co. As I comment she has settled for her own kitty bed with her kittens.

Omg, she gives love, affection, taking care for each one during her hard moment. Wow, a real mother!!!❤ Inspiration! I have no one! Okay, not bad, the important is i'm a real cat mother hehehe!👏

I always get very emotional when watching animals give birth to young. I've witnessed a mother goat giving birth at a kids' zoo, and a dog with a LOT of puppies. You can feel this explosion of new life coming into the world and it's a very positive, uplifting experience that fills the heart. Here's to all the kittens doing well and their mom being good to them as they grew up (since this is over a year later.) Much love to all the kitties.

We saw it a lot when we were small. Cats were not spayed at that time. She gave birth twice, sometimes thrice a year. After the kittens were born, the placenta came out and she ate it all. I remember the smell of the births.. . She had her box and soft towels, it was dark and cozy for her there. We watched so many births and I find it amazing how normal it was for all of us. How normal and how special. Our cat was such a good mother, also with us human Children.! She was the most special cat....

I love cats deeply, have had them in my family my whole life (and I'm a pretty old dude), yet somehow I've never seen this before. For all I really knew, the stork brought kittens to their mom. Amazing. Of course, she is so careful and loving with her babies. I didn't know though how much discomfort she obviously goes through with each birth. She's exhausted. Such a good mom. Brings tears to my eyes.

But too many are born into this cruel world and suffer overpopulated results. PLEASE get your cats spayed and neutered!! It's the right and responsible thing to do!!
