I just want to say that if you are a lapsed Catholic, and thinking about coming home.. Go to confession. Just go. I spent years away from the church. From my early teens up until I was 32. I was poorly catechized and had many misunderstandings and misconceptions about the Catholic Church, I bounced around and tried other denominations a bit too. Never was I moved like when I attend Mass. The reverence just was not there. The Eucharist was not there. The best decision I ever made was going to RCIA. I got confirmed finally at 33, 6 years ago. I am so grateful now that I did that. If I screwed everything else up, I at least did that. I know now I am in the right place. Do not ever be afraid of seeking Forgiveness. Our Lord is merciful. Sending love and peace to everyone here, regardless of your faith background. ❤

It was the time when my son entered as postulant in this monastery of the Benedictines. It is a heavenly experience. The place is so peaceful and full of natures beauty. I'm Praying for my sons success in these call to serve God the almighty.

Grew up in the 60’s, attended Catholic Elementary School. As School children we learned the Latin Music for the Requiem Masses & were dismissed from class to walk over to the church for any funerals. We loved doing that because even as very young children we thought the music was so beautiful. Really miss those days. 😢
