For the SMB level, I feel like a background with mountains would make this look 10 times better

I'm honestly surprised Nintendo never did this as a fun Easter egg. They could have set each of these up as secret unlockable levels in the Switch port of SMB 3D World.

For SMB2, I prefer having a boss fight before the end of the level. That was where you fought with Mouser in the original game.

you missed the last green star in the SMB1 area, it was kinda right there too, the purple bricks just before the exit sick mod tho

I doubt many of you know this; When New Super Mario Bro's (wii) came out, it was awesome. Some awesome nerds/hackers, modded the game and re-constructed the original NES super mario bro's with it. It was fantastic. I'm guessing Nintendo found out about it because, not long after that Super Mario Maker came out. THIS concept (making older mario games with new technology) isn't new.

I would like a 2D Mario in this artstyle but with more detailed asset like vanilla 3D world(I understand why the asset is not as detailed because it’s supposed to be retro) instead of the super mario bros wonder artstyle. It’s to streamline everything. Maybe tweak the camera angle to be higher and closer to make it look more 3D? NSMB looks weird(it’s plasticky gummy 2D background but with 3D character) so people are requesting a new artstyle, it worked in DS and Wii but not in HD, it’s just NSMB is too cookie cutter with the theme and too lazy. If wonder is not a replacement for NSMB, then it’s fine but I think we still need the more linear gameplay of NSMB.
