The initial Gog Magog battle takes place in Ezekiel 38. All of the countries names are the real names. It’s an ancient battle. Trying to line up those ancient countries with modern countries to claim it as a future battle is nonsense. The battle is stopped to “burn the weapons for 7 years”, then the battle resumes in Revelation, but is continuous thereafter. Revelation 20:8 clearly tells you who Gog is and what Magog is.

Judah is not a synonym for Israel; the norther ten tribes. The two houses have distinct prophesies/politics/histories. Did Ezekiel mention Judah in his end-of-days prophecy? The clear answer is no. The Jews are all of Israel? No; they are not. Once again; they are Judah. Are they Israelites? Yes. Hebrews? Yes. The house of Israel? No. Furthermore; God never referred to any member of the house of Judah as Israel. Post-Babylon; Judahites had their tribal name shortened to Jews. Excluding the "borrowed" tribe of neighboring Benjamin, and some resident Levites; only people descended from Jacob's fourth son were named Judahites. The ten tribes were not Judahites. Therefore; they were not Jews--Which denoted tribal identity. Period. Two sisters in the same family are not the same. No one would argue differently. A missionary people; proclaiming the Good News to the world. God promised Abraham that he would be the father of "many nations." Plural, and physical; not a non-nation "spiritual Israel/church" His promise also included the future Arab nations; through Ishmael. None of what is currently taking place in the Middle East has anything to do with Ezekiel's prophecy. The current; multitudinous descendants of the ten "forgotten" tribes of biblical Israel live in the promised; latter day; blood related; prophesied New Covenant nations. One objection: what about the other nations? In Jeremiah 31; God informs us that both covenants were given to the house of Israel, and the house of Judah; no other nations.
