Good editing takes out all of the dead moments. In the other videos, Julius looks great because of all the editing. He just needs more experience performing in more formal elegant settings. When you're getting magic for free on the streets the expectations are low. At formal events like these expectations are going to be a lot higher. Major props to Julius for trying something new.

I feel so bad for Julius, he was trying his best here but the room just wasn’t receptive or reactive at all, and there’s not much you can do when that happens. Having said that, I think you did well given the circumstances Julius, so hats off to you

For all those who said the audience was dead... you had never performed for a live audience ever. Some people show their appreciation for magic by going into DEEP thinking mode. The “less” emotions they show = the “More” engaged they are mentally. Trust me
