​@@ianbelletti6241. Just speculating that the other side of the fence slats are probably slightly rounded and would provide more surface area for the concrete to settle onto and around.

@@pamskinner9490 the other side actually has less surface area but would require more work to show. They cut out work but showed us the crappy side of the fence.

I wouldn’t think so… think of all the home foundations sidewalks walls and countless other cement structures there are out there all of those things could potentially leech into the water table as well…but it was a great question and something to ponder

Yes, of course it does! Just like epoxy is very toxic... People ignore it and do it anyway. Because it's nice and it may not last long enough before they change it again. Or clean it and change out the water. These are more for temporary "nice" projects. Not a permanent code to safety proper project to commercialise and resell. Epoxy is very very toxic... I cannot understand the amount of projects for it's personal use... like I seen toilet bowl seats made; counter tops; floors. The regular use from these projects seems to have too much personal use for these to be safe in long term exposure. Some projects I can reason. I assume a sealant of some sort on the market could be adhered to it to make it more safely durable. But even jewelry is quit questionable. With all that said, I think cement is on lesser scale of toxic. But definitely regular draining and cleaning would be sufficient. 👍🏽

I had some of the same thoughts. I love the creativity of the project. That being said, I am wondering about another thing. 🤔why didn’t they have the pretty side of the little fence showing,instead the back side with all the joints. That seems backwards to me 🤔 I love that people have the energy to do these kinds of things 😊 I just don’t always “get” it 😊
