Рік томуOnly the second time that an undefeated Michigan and an undefeated Ohio State have faced off in the final game of the regular season led to one of the most highly anticipated college football game in years. No. 3 Michigan traveled to Columbus, Ohio to take on No. 2 Ohio State in ‘The Shoe’. The Buckeyes came out on fire, until a few long touchdowns from the Wolverines calmed the nerves. Marvin Harrison Jr. caught a TD just before halftime to give Ohio State the 20-17 edge going into the break. In the second half, everything changed. J.J. McCarthy looked outstanding. He finished the game with 263 pass yards and three touchdowns. Donovan Edwards stepped up huge, including the final two dagger touchdown runs to finish the game with 216 rush yards. No. 3 Michigan defeated No. 2 Ohio State in Columbus for the first time since 2000. The Wolverines will play in the Big Ten Championship game in back-to-back years next week.

All we heard all week was how improved the Defense was and how much more physical they are and the "revenge" factor...then Michigan showed us all that the Suckeyes are who we all thought they were...still SOFT!! they got dominated and smacked around again in their house now with nice weather & without Corum so no excuses...put some RESPECT on the Wolverines name!! I am no historian but I can’t remember the last time we had this many crazy explosive plays/long touchdowns . Even against cupcakes. FIVE huge td plays . Wow . Really Impressed by JJ. Lot of noise around our passing game and JJ lately. And there were still some hiccups to clean up even today . But man he stays calm and cool, and delivers when it matters . Future is bright with him. But this was a complete TEAM win. All across the board. Michigan plays complimentary football as well as any team in the country .

He looked and made decisions of a coach playing not to lose...that decision not to go on 4 and 6 just before halftime, even when the offense was on a quick-hitting drive, and even when Stroud tried to wave off the punt team, I knew then that Ohio State had no heart to be aggressive and win. The second half proved that correct..

I’m glad Michigan won. I’m not an alumni of either school. But I got so sick of hearing how great Ohio State was all year when they looked good but not great. They can’t say enough how accurate CJ Stroud is yet, I see him over, throwing receivers all the time.

I know one thing as a USC Trojan fan we better have a top 5 recruiting on defense to compete in the Big Ten. Harbaugh always has a physical offensive line and runs the ball til ya fold. As for the Buckeyes there receiving core is always top 3 in the nation. We need to recruit Southern California if we want to compete with the big dogs Great game by the way Harbaugh has turned the corner with his program.
