True story. I saw her once in London, maybe 1989. My sister and I were backpackers and living in Nottinghill Gate. We were walking down the street one day and a man stopped us and asked us to stand aside and wait for a few moments, then a black car pulled up and a women got out with a child and walked right past us. It was Diana and a very young Harry and she was dropping him to his kindergarten. We were gobsmacked and waited for her to come out and she walked right past us again and smiled at us. She was absolutely beautiful and I’m now 52 and it is a moment I will never forget as long as I live.

The whole thing was quite magnificant.. I watched the wedding on tv the day of. Mostly what I remember is her arrival at the church, and her beautiful dress with that amazing train!!😁

As a girl watching the classic Disney cartoon of Cinderella it stuck with me. Seeing Diana all dressed up in such a beautiful gown, and that beautiful veil with the sparkling diamond tiara it was hard not to be in awe of her. This shy girl living out the princess dream for all of girls at the time. It's truly remarkable that this now happened 41 years ago.. She is forever timeless, and though her fairytale didn't end how we all wanted, that day will forever be etched in my memory of how a real princess stole our hearts. RIP Diana.. 👑 You'll never be forgotten!

Fun fact: when I went to choose my dress for my First Communion (early 1992) the fist thing I saw was a dress very resembling to that of Diana, with just small differences. Turned out it was the only one I could actually fit into (I was tall for my age and it was difficult to find a suitable model). You can't imagine how happy I felt. Diana had a strong impact on me as a youngster and she indirectly taught me that personal choices are the ones which never disappoint us.

Diana, i was 11 on your big day. Our street was closed for the party. Everyone was there for you. We made crowns. The jewels were midgets gems and wine gums. Jelly and icecream over flowing. Streamers and banners sending you best wishes. People sat takling , laughing and some were dancing. Someone manage to get the tv out into the street so we could still watch. For me the 11 year old girl it was a magical day, one I’m glad i was able to be part of. A few years later, working my first jobs you had your boys. Another party , you were so innocent and beautiful. As the years went by people could see you were not happy, something was very wrong but everybody has there secrets and problems, you just carry on. Then it was out, you were out of the marriage, then a new man. Again your smile dazzled the world. One sunday my alarm radio woke me to the news you were gone. I dressed, went to work. The feeling of disbelief full in my belly. How, why ? At the time in worked in a pub, sunday was always busy. I think that day i was asked “have you heard” maybe 50 times. People were crying asking how and why. Nobody could belive our princess was gone. I hope that where ever you are now , your safe and your watching your boys, smiling.

Diana knew it when 2 red flags happened prior to the marriage, and another at the wedding ceremony at the church. The first being that heart shattering reply after they were asked after their engagement, “and in love ?” with Diana replying “ of course”. Charles then answering “whatever in love means”. Prior to the wedding, she discovered Charles had purchased a bracelet for Camilla. His defending response was, it was a partying gift. And the final blow came when Diana spotted Camilla at the church.

It was made after Queen Victoria's wedding dress. It was beautiful but in my opinion didn't do anything for her. Too voluminous, train way too long, crumpled and she was drowning in it, the veil was rather flat and too stiff and broad for her beautiful face. But she was oozing feminity and grace, she was stunningly beautiful. This weding was completely oversized. The whole event was staged and way too big. As if they wanted to deliberately make it big to cover up the truth behind it.

I was born the year she passed away! But my god! That dress is AMAZING! Everything in general her tiara, her veil, that beautiful engagement ring, THAT TRAIN ! It’s sad to know that she lived in misery for a very long time, Prince Charles kinda made me believe that he actually did he feelings for her, the way he looked at her when saying his vows and the way he held her hand as they stood their on the balcony..too bad that she was unhappy! But she was blessed with her kids! Overall, I am certain she was an amazing human being! I am so glad that I got to witness this wedding at least thru video !

I received hate letters when he married me, threatening phone calls to the extent that we moved house and keep our place a secret which is very unusual for my country. Because here, nothing ever happens. Today, 20 years into our still very happy marriage I'm still not a welcome person when we are invited to functions. It's the women who still resent me, although it's gotten much better. The men are nice to me but not the women. My husband still looks great and they still run after him. He could have had (and still can have) the most beautiful women but he loves me, the common looking woman. Just last week, he smiled at me and said: Will you marry me? After 20 years of marriage.

Londinium Cross It’s just the way Prince Charles handled the marriage with Lady Diana. I understand he may have really loved Camilla , however children were involved. Two families publicly humiliate. A lot of hurt people alone the way. You sound like a beautiful human being, inside and out! Learn to love yourself . I know exactly how you feel, people can be so cruel.

Esse casamento é a prova viva de que "nem tudo que reluz, é ouro", aparentemente o casal jovens de noivos felizes e apaixonados, mas ele amava outra mulher, casou-se com ela apenas para cumprir suas obrigações de príncipe herdeiro e dá um sucessor legítimo ao trono, ela no dia anterior pensara em desistir do casamento e já sabia que o futuro marido não a amava. A cerimônia e a celebração desse Casamento foi algo surreal de espetacular, Charles estava bonito e muito formal como um príncipe tal como era, e Diana, não tenho palavras para descrever tanto beleza! Seu rosto doce e angelical, e seu jeito tímido deu um toque a mais de especial, nunca vi uma noiva tão bela e deslumbrante, e não sei se ainda verei até o fim da minha vida. A Rainha Mãe, estava graciosa e Rainha Elizabeth também uma senhora muito bonita e feliz, todos estavam bonitos, elegantes e muito felizes, as daminhas de honra encantadoras, pareciam princesinhas. Nem imagino a felicidade das pessoas que puderam acompanhar de perto, e o choque ao saber do divórcio, e o que começou de uma forma tão fascinante não durou muito tempo, que esse casamento que parecia inspirado em um contos de fadas, foi recheado de traições de ambas as partes. Pena que não tive o privilégio de assistir na época, apenas depois da morte dela e saber do final dessa história. There was a story from my friend in an Asian country. One day Princess Diana visited her country. She was very lucky because..she have seen Princess Diana at close range. She told me that Princess Diana was incredibly beautiful and charismatic. Diana had such a beautiful aura and a shining face. Her eyes and smile made anyone who saw her melt . Meanwhile, another friend of mine got a chance to shake hands with Princess Diana. Until now, she still has a photo of her shaking hands with Princess Diana.
