Charlo has a lot of heart. He was outboxed first a lot of this fight and he continued to press on and dig until he got that KO, against a VERY SKILLED boxer, albeit a soft chinned one. This was a great fight. And even though I question his maturity at times, Jermell Charlo has proven himself as the number 1 guy at 154.

This was a damn good fight. Harrison showed dawg by backing Mell up and by outstriking him on the inside. Charlo showed an insane tank and the ability to carry his power into the championship rounds. I had it 95-94 Harrison at the time of stoppage

Humility is important. He was comfortably winning. Don’t know how two judges had Charlo winning. Harrison landed the same amount while being wayyyyy more accurate. Harrison’s a fool for showboating and got what he deserved for it

It's not all about "landing the same amount"...... Charlo was landing more power punches in most rounds. Power shots score better than jabs. You have to score the fight off of what you actually see, not compubox stats

What you said doesn't even make sense! How can Harrison Land the SAME amount of punches, and yet be "More accurate???" If the punches were EVEN, how can you have Harrison, "comfortably ahead???" Unless you're extremely biased like Most of y'all ARE!! Jermell landed 30 MORE punches in the first fight, and yet y'all said the judges know better than fans online!! So now, the shoe's on the other foot! Just respect the judges decision!! They know MORE about scoring a Boxing fight than disgruntled, Charlo haters right!!! We had 4 die as results from their fight. Maxim Dadashev Hugo Alfredo santillan Boris Stanchov Patrick Day. Dwight Ritchie died while sparring preparing for upcoming fight and although his death wasn’t due to boxing , I have to mention the legend Pernell Sweet Pea Whittaker. RIP to all.

Not a good job by the ref, he should've stopped the fight after the 2nd knockdown, the ropes was the only thing keeping Harrison up and he wasn't returning any punches, ref allowed him to take way too much punishment

This was a great fight! Harrison was winning the fight but got too comfortable (playing around) and paid the price. You can never get comfortable in that square circle. Especially with a beast like Charlo.

Yep...so true. Many people were saying the opposite that Harrison was in Charlo's head but I believe that was bs because most people do not like Charlo and Harrison was saying things (i.e Charlo is a punk) that people wanted to hear rather than stay on the topic of boxing and state facts. I honestly felt that Harrison was full of it throughout the time leading up to the fight as he would evade questions regarding the injury to his ankle and circumvent it with an answer that would leave many bewildered. Also, I sensed a bit of doubt in his speech too. I just felt he was not all the way there in his confidence and it really showed in the face-to-face interview that Charlo was not phased by Harrison's talk.

Tony Harrison got a lesson this fight and that is to not get too cocky against a good, tough, power punching guy like Charlo who was the world champion and should have been, in my opinion, the title holder coming into this fight as I saw him winning the first bout. Harrison fought well and I had him winning the fight by at least a couple rounds as he exhibited great defense and accuracy. He tried to stun Charlo's morale with taunting but it did not work. I really had a good feeling on Charlo winning and I really respected him more than I did Harrison throughout the duration leading up to this fight as he was more real and genuine in everything he said and in his demeanor. Nonetheless, both fought well, but Charlo came through, won, and lived up to his words on knocking Harrison out. Great victory for him.

SonOfOdin I agree it was bad judging I know Harrison won a lot of rounds but man you can’t tell me that was a bad stoppage . Just look at the third knock out the ref could’ve definitely stopped it there! He gave Harrison a chance and all he did was go against the rope n try to block without throwing punches . He was gonna get hurt I’m telling you Good Stoppage .

Harrison was in control and looking real good. But then he started clowning. Charlo kept grinding and it paid off. That combo to the body & head was beautiful! Good work well deserved win by Charlo.
