It was widely expected the Patriots would go after Haeg in the draft a few years back, it was reported New England spent a lot of time with him during the senior bowl and that Brady really liked him(Haeg was a TE who made the move to tackle). For some reason New England didn't draft him tho, but when Brady signed with Tampa the very next day Joe Haeg also signed with Tampa.
