Been an NFL watcher since 1976, Mahomes and the Chiefs are best team I've seen in many, many years. They made the Ravens look thoroughly average.

As a raiders fan even I can’t hate him he is special, humble, and plays like he needs to prove himself more plus he is still young which is scary he will be in the league when brees, Brady, Rodgers are gone.

Everyone is seriously overlooking the Chiefs Defense, which is understandable. Mahomes and that offense looked amazing. Reid and Beinamy need to be praised for their offensive scheme. They finally showed us their true offense and it looks scary. Not to mention the score really should’ve been closer to 44-20. But the Defense, oh my. The Defense only allowed 13 points against a high flying Ravens team. 13 POINTS. That’s absolutely incredible. Not to mention there was a BS personal foul call against Hitchens that kept a TD drive alive for the Ravens. It would’ve been 4th down and a bunch. The LB’s finally were hitting their gaps, the DE’s were keeping contain (seen on the late sack) on Lamar, the interior of that DL lead by Chris Jones was potent and plugged up the middle, and the DB’s were quick and communicating well. The whole defense was incredible to watch. Credit that to Spags and his gameplan. That last drive the Ravens had where Spags sent a Tampa/Engage 8 blitz every down was spectacular. Spags isn’t playing around and it’s special to watch.

Clyde Edwards has such a nasty spin. I miss seeing him do that to SEC teams. Enjoy him KC fans. Pure raw talent and he worked harder than anyone else because he was so undersized. All that heart!

My older brother went to Texas Tech for a few years so naturally we became fans and would watch every football and basketball game and I remember when Mahomes got the start over Baker Mayfield and pretty much made Baker switch schools because he knew he would never start over Patrick and I knew while watching Patrick Mahomes in college when he would make all these crazy passes that he would be something special. Even though the Chiefs are not my favorite team, I still appreciate the skill that Mahomes has. Nothing but excitement for what's to come in his career.
