Experts warn the Communist superpower could use them to support an invasion of Taiwan, with submarines firing missiles at targets that have been identified by the space tech.

@@pavanvyas3949 USA-UK funding Taiwan is not attacking China. If Taiwan attacks China, that would be a different matter referred to as attacking China. It is an explicit definition; either attacking or not attacking, funding is not attacking. Taiwan is not a terrorist State; if someone arms Iran, that would be funding an attack on USA, UK, Israel, etc.

Can those satellites see through the waters and locate submerged vessels ? Maybe thermal optics or electromagnetic detection. Might be able to pick up on telecommunications even through ocean water.
