I was recently told that imperial Japan murdered something like 23 million Chinese during WWII and I was shocked that the number could be so high. I find it puzzling how little attention is given to this in the American education system. Not only do the Chinese understand, they probably suffered more than any other people except for maybe Russians from the insanity of war.

You would show him even more respect if you know, the translation @2:04 , "treating China as an adversary here is aiming at the wrong target" wasn't fully translated what he meant. It should be, "but Israel treats China as an adversary here, has chosen the wrong opponent." Although it maybe more polite or diplomatic to use the UN translation, however it lacks the subtle warning the more precise translation may suggest. The Chinese representative was actually hinting at Israel to not mess with China in a very subtle way. (Hence why he stressed the point prior to that it wasn't his intention to debate with him here.) The part when he said Israel has chosen the wrong opponent, is like the English saying of "you are picking the wrong fight."

@you are misinformed, you actually are referring to China territorial air space.... They never actually enter Taiwan airspace... The Taiwan Air Defense Identification Zone is an air defense identification zone covering Taiwan and its surrounds. It includes a large portion of the Chinese mainland. A theoretical "median line" was defined in 1955 one year after the zone was established.

china is extremely aggressive when it comes to defending their interests. whether or not that is good is a different debate. but in this case, they react like 99% of the world´s nations should react: neutral. you cannot condemn only one side in this situation. israel needs to be reminded of what has happened BEFORE the 7th of october. unfortunately european leaders are completely incapable of doing that and with their weakness they are giving israel a green card for doing whatever they want. it´s nice to see that other countries have a different approach.

@ Taiwan is part of China - period. And Taiwan's ADIZ (drawn up by the US) covers mainland China - how to avoid the ADIZ? Chinese planes flying within China's mainland Fujian province intrudes into Taiwan's ADIZ - you think this is Taiwan's airspace?

No respect. None of those hypocrites including China speaking to force Hamas to surrender, forcing Hamas to release the hostages, to end the war. This is not about war between Israeli vs Palestinian civilians. It's about Israeli vs Hamas who clearly using civilians as human shield. But none of them talking about Hamas like Hamas never existed.
