After listening to it a few times: I’m not mad at it, they maintained their musicality and integrity & that’s admirable. Nothing wrong with having fun and trying to reach other audiences. At the end of the day, they didn’t switch up on their quality or brand...they’ve always been about representing black female empowerment & the vibe of the song is still dope.
