when i was a kid my parents and i went on holiday in LA. As germans my parents were both smoker and the only restaurant who let you smoke back then was the one from Schwarzenegger. During our meal Arnie himself visited and smoke a cigar close to us and after he heard we were speaking german he came over. I was never happier my parents were smoker ;) (and Chris is right, its manly a.f. when Arni smokes his cigars^^)

I mean Chris is from a city just East of me, in fact we were in the same school district at the same time! Jimmy only had it a third right. If there is someone should play Gordon Lightfoot in a biopic or movie, “this” is the guy they should cast as the younger Gordon who sang “Sundown” or “If You Could Read My Mind”, ‘not’ Bryan Cranston. Yes they should cast Bryan Cranston as Gordon Lightfoot, but as a “1981-1993 era middle-aged” Lightfoot from the “Salute/East Of Midnight/Gord’s Gold Volume II” albums, and have Bill Nighy relieve both of them as an elderly Lightfoot (1994-present). Also if the deal doesn’t go well for Chris Pratt as the younger Gordon Lightfoot, or Chris Pratt as Lightfoot isn’t your cup of tea, then I would suggest Scott Clifton (Liam from the Bold and The Beautiful), or Jamie Dornan as an understudy or an alternative.

The age-old difference between Mario pronunciations. Marr-ee-yoh vs Mary-oh. Personally, the former has always seemed more logical and accurate, because you have Charlie (like me!), Marley, Harley, Gnarly, Farley, Barley, Carlie, and the whole 'mare' pronunciation for Mario just seems a bit off in that context. There are no words or names with a first syllable that rhymes with 'air' that doesn't have a vowel indicating that's how it should be pronounced. I saw someone's logic about why Mario should be pronounced like the eastern US does (Mary-oh) because it's a name that originates from Italy and they pronounce it "Mahh-ee-oh" and somehow his mental gymnastics led him to conclude that means it should be "Mary-oh" if you replace the 'ahh' with 'arr'. What he forgot is that Italians don't say "Mahh-ee" for Mary, so why should Mario sound like Mary? It shouldn't. It sounds like "Marr-ee-oh", period. Take that you east coast wack jobs!
