I'm a gardener. It didn't seem to bother me at all until I turned my head back for a drink of water and became dizzy. My inner ear was damaged from the sound and I'm better each day thank God. For about 5 days if I moved my head or layer back everything would spin. Since then, I physically cannot handle the sound anymore. I get dizzy and nauseated. I've been inside until the late afternoon when they die off. I hope I fully recover soon.

@OfficialDJTasawennateken
@OfficialDJTasawennateken 14 днів тому
@@iguesssActually I hate to break it to you but that's wrong and it's a misconception and it's something that's been lied to people in America for decades now Locust Misconceptions: The Truth Behind Grasshoppers The misconception that the United States does not have locusts is a prevalent but unfounded one. In reality, the US is home to over 650 species of locusts that belong to the family Acrididae. This family includes numerous grasshopper species found across the country. The misunderstanding arises from a lack of clarity about the scientific definitions of locusts and grasshoppers. While many people believe locusts and grasshoppers are separate types of insects that belong to different families, they are actually the same creature. All grasshoppers belong to the family Acrididae and are technically locusts. However, the term "locust" is often reserved for grasshopper species that exhibit swarming behavior and cause widespread damage to crops. This distinction leads to further confusion, as not all grasshopper species display these traits of swarming and destruction. In the United States, most native grasshopper species do not swarm or significantly impact agricultural fields. Their behaviors differ from locust plagues seen in other parts of the world. It is important to understand that "locust" is simply a name given to grasshoppers that swarm in large numbers and ravage crops. But swarming is not a defining characteristic of the species. All grasshoppers are locusts by scientific classification, regardless of their individual behaviors. The same family, Acrididae, includes both destructive swarming grasshoppers and less impactful solitary species found across the US. Therefore, claiming American grasshoppers cannot be locusts due to their lack of swarming goes against biological facts. The misconception is also perpetuated by the minimal damage caused by native grasshoppers in the US compared to other regions. This is likely due to effective pest control using natural predators and pesticides, which help regulate grasshopper populations below swarming thresholds. However, in years with optimal conditions, occasional small outbreaks can still occur. the idea that the US has no locusts is an incorrect assumption based on misunderstandings of scientific definitions. All grasshoppers are locusts by taxonomic classification. While American species may differ in behaviors from their counterparts overseas, they still belong to the same Acrididae family. It is important to recognize grasshoppers and locusts as variations of the same creature rather than separate groups to avoid perpetuating misconceptions.
