Climbing South Sister Volcano In Oregon

Join me and my friend Allyson as we climb the South Sister volcano in Oregon, USA! I hiked past South Sister on the Pacific Crest Trail in the summer of 2023 and promised myself I would climb it someday. South Sister stands 10,358 feet (3,157 m) tall at the summit and is the tallest of the Three Sisters volcanoes. I finally got the chance to summit 70 days after reaching the Canadian border. I hope you enjoy the amazing views and beautiful scenery as you follow us along on this journey!

Which mountain has been the toughest climb you have done ?

So far Mt. Adams has been the toughest physically. Mt. Rainier was pretty nasty because of the weather but we had to turn back half way up.

@@HikeCampClimb my cousin tried to do Mt. Adam’s last year in August made it to lunch counter and did not summit because they packed way too much gear and wore themselves out they are going to give it a go again this year and take less gear.
