These are not incredible harmonies. These are learned harmonies. If you notice, they do not harmonize to songs that are not theirs since that would mean harmonizing on the spot. Their harmonies are good, not incredible.

They harmonized the words "that way" and went flat again when trying to pick up on the final "that way." Harmonizing is about quality, especially when we are talking about the wow factor you mentioned earlier.
