If you look at the chains in this intro as the "chains of fate", you can see how each set of chains depicts the character they're around. Mista's chians are all around him, but also, far away from him, symbolising him not caring about his fate, and how he prefers to enjoy the simple things in life Trish is shown falling through a helix of chains, showing how she has never had any control over her fate, being Diavolos duaghter has set her on a path she gets no say in. Abbachio is seen in an hourglass, telling us that his time is running out. Both Narancia and Bucciarati are seen walking directly towards the chains, saying that they accept their fate, and march toward their deaths. Fugo has no chains in his bit, indicating that he really is not important in the story. Finally, it shows Giorno turning said chains into vines, showing that he is the one who will defy fate, and make his own path in life. Just a little detail i found neat

did you know that all the members who betrayed the boss have chains? thats why everyone but fugo has them.

Using this opening you can predict the deaths of this part. For Giorno, Mista and Trish they stand between the chains meaning they are between their fates and haven't reached the end of it. For Abbacchio, Bucciarati and Narancia the chains cross over them. Abbacchio stands in a hourglass with chains flowing out symbolising his fate is running out. Bucciarati continues to walk and stand in defiance as the chains(his fate) try to stop him. Narancia's face continues to grow darker when ever a chain washes over him symbolising that his fate like, Abbacchio's is running out.

I rememebr not liking this OP the first time I heard it. Now it's my absolute favourite.

After I saw the ending of part 5, I went back to this opening. It gave me a weird feeling to see them like this after seeing some of them dying and also after the last two episodes with that ball stand.

In the minutes 1:17 we Can see our characters in two lines: the line on the right we can see Abbachio up to the top indicating that he was going to be the first to die since he is the one closest to the Light, then we see narancia indicating that he was going to be the second to die and then down to the bottom we see bucciariati which was weird since he was the leader of the group but he was at the bottom indicating that he was going to be the last to die, on the left line we see Giorno to the top indicating that one day he was going to fulfill his dream of being the biggest gangster, then we look at mista indicating that he was going to be relevant in history and also after finishing part 5 we see that mista was the only one who survived along with giorno so that's why we see mista second, and then down very small he sees Fugo indicating that he simply wasn't going to have such an important role in this season since he was the only one who didn't betray to the mob Edit: just a little detail I saw

I really love 0:30 to 0:36. Why is nobody talking about it? Abbacchio is such a tragic character. It's so perfect. Abbacchio have a longing expression on his face as he appears right after the sand head, which is his police partner's head. It then drops to the floor into a pile of sand signifying his death, and then Abbacchio scooping it up with regret. And then the hourglass part where the sand just flows down into a chain, like that memory has chained Abbacchio's hands into the past. Heck even his Stand is about replaying past events. It really shows how no matter how long time has passed, Abbacchio is forever replaying that day he lost his partner, his friend.
