DONT throw the poles! Fiberglass poles aren’t that strong. If you want this tent to last, carefully assemble the poles, making sure they seat all the way!

I've thrown the poles on every tent I've ever had, and none of them have ever broken. I make sure to do it on a soft surface like grass - I can see them definitely getting damaged if you do it on concrete.
