Before and after are beautiful and a vibe

So you mixed light golden brown (6.3) and mahogany brown (5.5). Very brave. Lovely result. We need more guidance on mixing box hair dye colours, as this is what hairdressers always do. I’ve seen another UKpostsr achieve chocolate brown by mixing 9.3 light golden brown and 5.5 mahogany brown. She mixed the level 9 (light golden blonde) to stop the colour turning too dark. You did a great job!

youre supposed to mix with a plastic whisk not a metal one, because it changes the color

You should be using a silicone whisk. The metal reacts with the color.

I went to Sally’s and bought the dish and hair dye brushes. 100 percent can compare my old chocolate Brown from Aveda that cost me 150 vs this 60 and it looks exactly the same! The only thing , I wouldn’t dye the roots first as it’s already dark and need less time , plus leaving hair dye products on your skin that could be avoided as it’s not healthy 😊I have grey hair and feel bad when I do that but I had too 😢

I have what I call “natural highlights”, someone please tell me if this is with genes or what!! I have “medium brown hair” (not really dark but not light) with some light and dark strands. I can see them well in the dark, my friend even asked if I have highlights 😨
