At the end of Mr. Huang sharing his future vision of jobs with AI, I was so impressed that I wondered why nobody clapped hands before going into the Q&A session. Btw I agree that managers job is to eliminate his job to do what he really desires to do. He may not have said that way. But I think that’s his message as well. Well done!

No one clapped because those business students were stunned at what they heard from Jensen. He said all the things opposite of what has been fed to them by the b school. The deans said "ultimately it is all about making money." Jensen's purpose and mission was to solve unique problems in the world, not to go after the neighbor's product and defeat them, which is what most b school teaches. Also, Jensen said a few times and gave a thumbs down to "best ceo" award. Silicon valley techie mindset is very different than rubber stamped ivy league MBAs. So, they were too stunned to clap.

Jensen reinvented the wheel by spreading technology ahead of his time with vision and I guess some luck but Nvidia catapulted and revolutionized the industry by doing things no one dares to imagine and it’s possible with the right character as he puts it - not money as the Dean/interviewer wrongfully stated was the end goal for which Jensen chuckled and later humorously stated AI will go after Deans. I learned about computer science and its future watching this video and Columbia has the opportunity to expand a tech program aside from business only curriculum to compete with Silicon Valley. I don’t think Jensen cares about titles or that he’s voted the best CEO but about changing the world and only time will tell if AI is really going to be an advantage to humankind and detrimental to society.

@kamu747 It can go up even more, technically viable, but market, pricing, user adoption, ecosystem, storage media, etc.. has to align to make it a consumable product. Since market moved to alternative competing products, I think the roadmap to 8k and 16k disks are on hold. I have not followed it closely. Other experts in the comments section may shed some light. Or, search the web if you are interested further.

Jensen is really a great and funny guy! It's too bad that so few people got his jokes or references. One example was when he said, "Make it so Number 1" That was a line from Star Trek where Captain Jean Luc Picard often says to Will Riker, his first officer. Of all the CEOs that I've seen in interviews, Jensen Huang is the most comedic one. 😆

A few days after the video linked in this post was published, the proposed merged failed. The reason it's so important for every NVDA investor to watch is due to the number of joint ventures NVDA sells its chips too. That's a bland way of pointing out that NVDA buys its own chips (not a joke). The deal in the video shows a lot of unsavory characters were involved as well as China, which is currently prohibited from acquiring NVDA AI GPUs due to US sanctions. The failed deal was out in the public eye. Can you imagine what is happening at these joint ventures that are private? You've been warned... ukposts.info/have/v-deo/i5KUppWApH9hjqM.htmlsi=0b02_LBq61E8vJJ3
