Every month or two, Seabreeze Organic Farm in San Diego invites members of the San Diego Corgi Meetup and their owners to come in and roam.

Update on Queen Edwina " the chubby one" at the Farm. We adopted her when she was 3 and even heavier than in the video. She's over 12 years old now, going strong. She loves the ocean and went surfing and chasing the other dogs at Dog Beach in Del Mar yesterday where we take her and Samantha as often as we can slip away from the farm.

@@stepheniecaughlin2004 I'm so glad to hear that. These judgemental assholes try to destroy the enjoyment of Corgis. They have no clue about the breed. Some Corgis are bigger than others and as long as they are healthy, (and I'd say 14 years sounds like you've done something right!!!)so what if they are chubby. My latest comment is IGNORE! There's always some ignorant miserable fart who has a snarky comment . Corgis are wonderful loveable magical creatures. And those who can't just love and appreciate them should find another channel to express their miserable comments. Love to your Corgi.♥️ I've had 3 so far, a Cardi mix and 2 Pems, all around 40 lbs., healthy and lived long happy lives. Hope I find another to rescue soon. And I wouldn't refuse a smaller or thinner one. I just love them all.

I miss my corgi, Honey. Shes been with me for 13 years and recently passed on. Corgis are my favorite breed of dog. So happy and loyal, she would have liked this.

When I was young a farm across the road was owned by one of the Queen's friends, and there were Corgis on that farm. I loved playing with them.

Hello all..Stephenie here..thank you for all the notes. Corgi lovers have a special bond. The 'fattie' , (Queen) Edwina, is our dog along with Sammy, the tri-color and they were both rescues. Edwina came to us several pounds more than the video and is still on a strict diet although I swear they attend courses on "How to Manipulate Humans for Optimizing Treat Dispensing' before they come to earth. Edwina loves the beach and swimming and laying on her back waiving her paws for attention.

I’ve had dogs all of my life. Best Dog Ever was my beloved shepherd-corgi mix, Tommy Goodboy. I carry some of his ashes in a little vial around my neck. The rest of his ashes are in his favourite lake. I sure miss you Tommy.❤️‍🩹

They still amaze me. Our younger corgi likes to be chased, our older one likes to herd -- but I have to be in the middle. It's a daily corgi parade!

Stephenie is a member of the San Diego Corgi Meetup, so she uses Meetup -- sometimes through the Corgi group, sometimes through her own group -- to announce and take reservations for the romps. She can control the membership of the group and limit who gets invites and who can RSVP for the romps. It would be harder to do without a corgi club to draw from.

Corgi's are all so beautiful I Love em! We always have had corgi's but, recently lost two within 4 months of each other. First time we have been corgiless since 1992.

I lost my 13 year old corgi very suddenly last May 1, and I've been having a very difficult time being in a home without a corgi. I keep checking local shelters and rescue groups in my area for an available corgi but no luck yet. Corgis are addictive, their intelligence and personality is like no other dog. Once you've owned a Corgi (or been owned by a corgi) the other breeds seem to be lacking somehow.

Marty933...same here. I've had 3. Each lived to be 14 to 16 and I've been unable to find one to rescue. They are addictive and wonderful companions. Sorry for your loss and I hope you find another soon!

Some interesting mixes in that pack. The one that surprised me was the shepherd/corgi mix, that must have been love at first sight for the two to make that mix.. An excellent combination too!

*cheer* This video is GREAT! Very nicely done/produced and you have some HANDSOME pups there! We have had 2 corgi'sand our current corgi is about 8 months. Wish he had some animals to herd but for now its the black + white soccer ball. Our male corgi is SO affectionate and well-mannered. Want to scoialize him more though, thats what I think we need to pursue more. TY for your video and your farm/corgi playground!

Most of them are fed the same, a mix of dry and some canned, according to size of dog and age. I have one elderly (over 15) rat terrier, he gets the same but I add scrambled eggs with the shells and/or plain yogurt three or four times a week to help with his digestion in addition to a supplement. He's still very active and slim but suffers from some deafness, confusion and arthritis. Steam green beans are a great treat and source of fiber. Everybody gets their one dog biscuit per day.

i saw ONE overweight corgi...i'm pretty sure he was just filmed multiple times.they are generally stocky and thick, and who knows, maybe that dog has an under active thyroid. you are in no position to judge.

hahaha my fiance and i have a welsh corgi, named California (Cali for short, of course), and she has a very sneaky way of conning me into giving her food. her face just says "no one ever loves me!" when she doesn't get her way. luckily we live on a farm in WY and she gets to run off the extra weight she puts on from begging. i love my corgi.

That is one thing to watch out for when you have a corgi -- they may not be the brightest breed, but they do have emotional cleverness and an exceptional skill at manipulating people to give them food.

We have a a corgi, and a small sheep farm in Port Angelews, WA and would LOVE to have a Corgi farm romp day here!! I see corgis around town at times, but there is no club for corgis here. How would I go about organizing such an event. looks like such fun!!!
