Very excited about the new venture! I am on 5 acres in northern NV with a small house and big shop plus a few other out buildings that I built (a couple single car garages and large sheds/shops. I have a bunch of cars). I like it here but would LOVE to have 20 acres in northern ID! Looking forward to see what you are going to do up there. I'm also a fire fighter/EMT so always cognizant of fire danger. If I were in a high risk wildland area I'd probably do a shipping container for both fire resistance and security when not home. Or concrete walls with metal roof. Then build sacrificial wood deck around and maybe fiber cement siding to make it look like a wooden cabin. Good luck with the new project.
