Yeah this is almost the exact story from Red Dead Revolver. Its the first game in the "Red Dead" series of games. Revolver came out first and its a lot different from Redemption and Redemption 2. I loved the first game. The mechanics and overall gameplay was nothing like the rest of the franchise but still a great game. Its only a few bucks on the PlayStation store last time i checked
