#torture NKVD
At all times, sadists have sought to cause as much suffering as possible to their victims, whether in the casemates of the Inquisition, the torture chambers of the NKVD or the secret prisons of the CIA. If girls and women fell into the clutches of the executioners, then the tormentors tried especially hard, coming up with original, most sophisticated methods of bullying and torment. At the same time, they used the physiology of the fair sex. Medieval Inquisition Church courts, pursuing dissidents, sought to intimidate the population of Western Europe in the 15th-17th centuries, so all women suspected of witchcraft were subjected to terrible torment. An exemplary Christian could also be considered a witch if: she has red hair; she is barren; gave birth to many healthy children; has birthmarks
spots; cross-eyed; lame or with other bodily defects; suspiciously pretty. This is just a small list of reasons why women could be tortured into confessing to witchcraft.
In the era of mass repressions, the NKVD forced the detainees to give confessions on absolutely far-fetched charges. They forced their relatives and work colleagues to slander. Naturally, not a single citizen of the USSR agreed to immediately recognize herself as an American spy or participant in a Trotskyist conspiracy. Moreover, no one wanted to give such evidence against their husbands, fathers and brothers. Then the torture began. The NKVD officers knew perfectly well that the most vulnerable places on the female body are the genitals, chest, fingers and toes, as well as the neck. Like medieval sadists, the Chekists tortured their victims using various methods of torture. A psychologically crippled, completely muzzled, beaten woman signed any paper: if only all this would end soon.
