That is an awesome router table, having all the bells & whistles it would look nice in any workshop. Are you selling, or perhaps giving away your old table ? ... :)

AWESOME!!!!!! I'm super inspired because I don't want a metal stand or cabinet. Building a plywood cabinet is my goal and you have nailed it for me. Plus that power feeder has me thinking also. Great job!

The 3/4" spacer for the hinge was a great solution... I always seem to run into mismatched hinges on hand. Welp... now I know. Thanks! Fantastic router table build, btw.

I'm currently doing a kitchen remodel, so I made room in the budget for one of those Foreman jigs. I've wanted one for a while, and I figured it would really help speed up the cabinet making. Man...how did I live without this thing? I have a K4 that has served me well and will still have its use in my shop, but there's nothing like the Foreman. Especially when doing larger pieces. I can batch out all the pocket holes for a full carcass in a few minutes. Definitely a worthwhile investment, iyam.

Awesome project and final result! In order to use the Tip-ons with hinges, you need to remove the spring from the inside of the hinge. Otherwise it will happen what you got there - clicking will pop it out but bring the front back close in a glimpse, leaving to time or space to insert your hand. I mention that on my Wardrobe video. Place the hinge on a vise, find the U shaped pin on the hinge and pull it out but not completely (will be hard to re-align the parts back together, so I recommend slowly pulling it off just until you can separate the two sections of the hinge) and pop out the spring (typically having a plastic cover and grease around it). Put the parts back together and carefully hammer the U pin back in place. Reinstall both hinges. Massive difference will be noticed! :) they now actually open by themselves.

That’s so awesome! I absolutely love the table and the 2 side slide outs. But!! That last toy that you added is mind bowing for me because I didn’t even know that there was an option for the power feeder accessory. Soo crazy. Of course I thought to myself, duh, how could someone not have thought of making something like that? But I just didn’t know they had already built one. So!, thank you very much and I’m looking forward to the next project video.

This is one of those videos that gave me a ton of questions. How come you did not use glue on the cabinet? What countersink bit is that? What is that monster pattern bit for? Could you have used the push to open fittings behind the drawers instead of along the sides? Does that lift plate have a height lock?

Nice, straightforward build! Love the "vertical" drawers, but I'm concerned that the slides you used aren't designed to hold weight in that direction. Based on your design, I think I'd have built the bit storage frames to provide room for the slides on the sides at the bottom, and let the bit shanks hang into the space between the slides.
@PTechMedia
@PTechMedia 3 роки тому
There shouldn't be substantial weight so the slides shouldn't bend. But I think your right that they won't hold the published weight limits in that orientation. It's just a common sense thing though. You wouldn't put a bag of and in those drawers
