I’m pretty sure Crash will come into Smash at some point, but just because a game is released, it doesn’t mean he’s automatically confirmed to literally be the next fighter. Otherwise we would’ve gotten characters like Doomguy first and not Banjo & Kazooie, which by the way, still has literally no games on the Switch yet. If anything, I want characters actually related to Nintendo’s history such as Conker even more, but I digress...

I just wished people would simply stop putting him on such a high pedestal as if he’s the only good and obvious choice like others once did with Steve. Crash is turning 25 Activision says there is stuff planned for Crash all year The ports are releasing three months after Sephiroth and if memory serves correctly, Smash characters have released two to three months between each other. On top of that one of them is a Switch port. And, Hero, Byleth, Steve, and Sephiroth (also Joker to a somewhat extent) released with something in the present/future that was related to them (FE Three Houses DLC, Final Fantasy 7 Remake pt 2, etc) I am not saying it’s confirmed, but I THINK THE BANOOCA IS COMING
