Is it just me or are all of the basketball clips a bit lackluster? I'm just not as impressed with what people think are crazy plays in basketball. I think the amount and variation of skill in football, baseball and hockey leave me feeling like most basketball players are simply really tall dudes with the ability to accurately throw a ball in a hoop they are naturally closer to. It reminds me of if a bunch of short dudes had to keep each other from dropping a golf ball into the cup, but without contact, ice and the edge of the green was the boundary for play.

Back in my softball league days, my friend Bill was pitching. I got ahold of one and it was probably going to be a home run, but as it went right over Bill's head, he snagged it out of the air. For the red vs pirates baseball play at first, I think the runner might actually have been out when he slides thereβs a second his hand is off the bag as he transfers to his foot and the first baseman has the ball on the bag. I just donβt know if they count a slide into first as running through the bag or not

Great but nothing from over 20 or 30 years ago? Brook Robinson or Craig Nettles at third base or Ozzie Smith at shortstop; great running backs and escape artists like Sweetness and Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders; magicians with the basketball like Bird, Magic, Dr. J, Dominique, of course MJ; great NHL goalies like Hextall and Roy. No soccer goalies or tennis players either, although their reflexes are incredible. But still, this is a great collection!

Add Dominek Hasek to the goalie list & you've got a list. That guy made some of the most athletically difficult saves ever. Never heard the phrase "standing his his head" used more than to describe just him... But Roy is my favorite goalie ever. Man had a lot of crazy in him, but all-timer for sure.
