Budda Baker runs a 4.45 40yard dash. He had a 10+ yard running head start. DK Metcalf from 10+ yards behind, starting from almost a standstill hawked down one of the fastest people in the league. He ran 108 yards at 22.65mph to hold Budda Baker to a 90 yard interception instead of what was supposed to be a guaranteed pick-six. This is by far the most "super-human" thing I've seen in my almost 40 years of life
@glitchxero4687Π ΡΠΊ ΡΠΎΠΌΡ
Can't really disagree with that. Also, Jerome Simpson doing a front flip over an NFL player-sized human being is pretty damn "superhuman" as well. It's hard enough to do a front flip and land on your feet just out in the open with nothing in the way, but fully over someone and then staying in bounds with the landing is incredible.
@EmperorOfSomethingΠ ΡΠΊ ΡΠΎΠΌΡ
It took me a few minutes to move past this one part because I kept rewinding it back. Unbelievable.
@DoobieFergusonΠ ΡΠΊ ΡΠΎΠΌΡ
Ben Watson chasing down Champ Bailey in 2005 is entirely more impressive in my opinion. Same situation, 100 yard return on an interception but Ben Watson was a tight end on the opposite field as Champ Bailey (Arguably the fastest corner in the league at the time) and was able to chase him down and knock him out at the 1 yard line. DK is fast and we know he's fast. For a tight end to do it...that's just insane.
@Novakayne27Π ΡΠΊ ΡΠΎΠΌΡ
I respect your choice, a true legendary NFL moment in its own, but I feel DK is still a bit better. Ben Watson runs like a 4.4 40 so he isn't by any means slow just cause he's a TE, he was already 10 yards upfield of Champ albeit on the other side of the hash and Champ Bailey thought he had daylight so he stopped running full speed at around the 30 yard line plus he had to dodge a tackle from the back earlier which made him stumble. There were a lot of forces at play in Ben Watson's favor to allow him to catch up. DK had to catch Budda who ran full speed the whole way and was never slowed down by a defender at any point.
@dillonparker2082Π ΡΠΊ ΡΠΎΠΌΡ
@@glitchxero4687 have you seen larry allen chase down a cornerback? larry allen was an offensive lineman who hawked down a CB that he was already 5 yards behind and he was flat footed when started inhumane in my opinion, other than metcalf going and doing that to baker i've never seen anything like it

@michaelallen31952 ΡΠΎΠΊΠΈ ΡΠΎΠΌΡ
The reason the other two stand out from that one, if I'm remembering Fernandez's correctly, is that his was as much human instinct to keep from getting hit by it as skill. NOT that anyone without pro level reflexes and training to use the glove would have done the same. But the two at the start of the video caught line drives buzzing by them with movements that weren't partly protecting their bodies. That said, it's really just splitting hairs.
