@@UnikUmbrait’s true. I’m a 3D creative art major in literally imagine anything. Finding your style just takes multiple drawings and modelings. It takes about 15 times doing something repetitive to really grasp your imagination and creative style. Just keep working and loving what you do and eventually, it’ll come. No matter how long something takes, it’ll get done. Just as long as you keep working at it, and if you’re going to work at it and get it done anyways, you might as well do your best. 80% of what you do is to just show up, the other 20% is the skill. You can’t get the skill if you don’t apply yourself showing up. Then once you have the skill, you might as well show up and do it. But then start to learn more and more. Apply that knowledge to everything you do and eventually you’ll be on top. It’s as easy as that. The formula of life, brotha.

I hear this often as an artist myself, I heard comments like this throughout high school and college. While I understand the frustration and the reasoning for this, there's two things I notice people don't often consider: 1.) Artists spend an insurmountable time practicing. I myself am a classic case of a student who in every class got in trouble for drawing, staying up till sunrise writing comics, and now in the middle of the night (into my adulthood) watching videos and practicing. This kind of dedication is not what makes an artist, understand that for most of the people who you see doing this professionally, what is true for most of us this is a compulsion, a second nature almost. 2.) Comparing yourself to a professional is not always productive. If you look at your art as a beginner then at someone like Jim Lee, and say "wow I can never do that" then I'm sorry you never will. That's an irrational goal. If you love designing then design! If you find happiness in creation then create. You may find more joy in casual creation than professional work (which often can take the joy out of things) Imagine having the worst artist's block of your life and instead of being allowed to set down the pen, you must power through the deadline. Please don't stop designing, find what you love. Art is whatever you make it, if it's doodling on the train to work or having an office at Disney. Don't shut down a passion because "you aren't good enough", because you are if you allow yourself to be. Hope this helps, stay groovy

Other people have given great advice in telling you to keep persisting, which is true, but I have something to add that no one else has touched on yet. References are incredibly useful if you're struggling with your own creativity. Use references, and if you have an idea for something to add to the design that isn't there, you can do that too to add your own touch, but if you're not able to come up with something, stay faithful to the reference. Upon doing this a lot and getting practice, you should be able to have a kind of instinct for making designs and be able to do so with little effort. Also, looking at references could be the inspiration you need, and you can take only small parts of the reference to add to your project.

@@RepentandbelieveinJesusChrist5 So I have a few questions for you. A. Are you UKposts comment section preachers all a bunch of bot accounts, or are you actually just people copy-pasting stuff? B. @@RepentandbelieveinJesusChrist5 “Smart people learn from everything and everyone, average people from their experiences, stupid people already have all the answers.” - Sokrates. Christians claim all are born sinners, yet a good deed outdoes many bad ones. And being born gives love and happiness to ones parents and family. That's one of the most innocent great deeds any living creature can give. If you call that a sin, you're the only evil around. Also Jesus never existed. It wasn't even his name it was Yeshua you dumb american. And he wasn't white. That's an italian propaganda made by the church to sell the religion to the white commoners. Also they claim jesus who is also god died to wash the sins that he originally created but put the blame on others. That's not kindness that's toxic relationship and a carrot and stick method. Make someone feel awful for no reason only to take it away to make them dependent on you. That's not love. It's manipulation. Religion is a fraud made by those in power to control the weak minded masses. Mark Twain put it best and he's your real source of enlightenment “Religion was born when the first con-man met the first fool.” You didn't even invent the bible. It was discussed in a meeting with over 30 texts and only 4 were chosen and the rest discarded and then destroyed most of it. Where's the rest they didn't like? And it's not even your book. It's the Torah from the jews. Jesus was said to be a jew who only wanted to change jewish laws and he performed jewish ceremonies and traditions. Yet you hate jews despite them giving your your own damn book. Hypocrisy at it's finest. "But the Lord is faithful" right yet he didn't have enough faith in his own creation that they would change their wicked ways and instead decided to cause mass genocide of every damn animal on earth that had nothing to do with it. And faithful? Him? That's like a cheater saying I put my hope in this royal flush. He rigged the damn thing. He knows what will happen, he MADE it so that it will happen exactly so. So how can there be faith when he already knows and set it up from the start. When a doctor says he can predict who of two will win a race. It's not cause of faith. He already knows cause he checked and one is sick. Again. It's hypocrisy saying one thing but doing the opposite. Plus the story of noah isn't even your story, or even the jews. You both stole it from the Indians and the tale of Manu and how the god Vishnu came to him as a fish the size of the ocean and helped him and his family with the arc. It wasn't noah. It was Manu with the help of Vishnu. Learn your history plagiarist. "Great Minds Discuss Ideas. Average Minds Discuss Events. Small Minds Discuss People." - Eleanor Roosevelt. Religion is a con and you're too self preserving to admit you were wrong. It's nothing personal or spiritual. It's all just business. Always has and always will.

I recently found out how good of a job 3d modeling and animation can be and just took the leap yesterday to learn blender. I’ve learned so much already and have just finished adding sprinkles to my donut. Was looking for some inspiring videos to end off my day of blender and playing cyberpunk 2077. Great vid thx!

I have genuinely learned more from this video than the actual tutorials I have viewed yet. This video perfectly showcased the fundamentals and constituent elements of constructing a scene such as this one, although I still have long to reach this level myself, it actually incentivised me to assemble my own scenes with comprehension after learning properly how to actually design models in 3D!

If you would have activated displacement, on the other hand you get the most of the detail from the displacement map. Maybe worth it🧐🤔 Edit: ahh ok, i just missed it.
