I have been wanting so badly to do a lot of road-trips and traveling to really get out of the bad head space I’ve been in the past few years but it’s just so hard I have a house and while I still feel isolated and trapped in the town I live in there is a certain sense of comfort I’m worried I could lose forever if I sell my house and leave but I know that need to it’s just so difficult when I’m in and out bad cycles of depression

You should get yourself a larger dog, not just for security, but for companionship!!! and he doesn't have to be aggressive for security. He can alert you to any sounds or potential predators, and possibly protect you should anything happen. I've had pitbull on my life and they've all been super loving, loyal and sweet. But because a lot of people are scared of them, they have always given me a sense of confidence and security and I compare them to having a gun with no bullets! No one is going to mess with you if you have a pitbull!!!
