Poland "Doesn't Know How Many T-72 Tanks It Has" Amid Official Figure Of 60 To 250 Ukraine Donations

День томуThe Polish army has likely “lost track” of the number of Soviet-era T-72 tanks the Polish military currently operates. The public in Poland is reportedly unaware of how many T-72 tanks Warsaw has donated to Ukraine so far. Kyiv probably received at least 30 to 60 vehicles, but the actual numbers are not publicly available, as per defence analysts. It also remains unclear whether any Polish Leopards were actually sent to Ukraine to fight the Russian army.

Germany started helping Ukraine only when they saw that Kiev had defended itself, that is, about a few months after the Russian attack, and they started sending helmets... Poland immediately sent 200 tanks... we are a frontline country and our situation is different... if you don't know anything, don't talk

NEWSFLASH!; House Speaker Johnston now supports 61 BN mil aid package to Ukraine, vote will be held this Saturday, and it looks like it will easily pass. Best news is there is actually more in it then the previous bills they voted on. This bill includes a requirement for Long Range ATACMS to be included in the first shipments .

This is understandable, the earlly game Poland played was to "lose" tanks, this allowed T72s to get to Ukraine while we worked out sending real tanks.

Maybe funny, but chek the reality - in their arsenal they have T-72M, T-72M1, some T-72 upgradered to Wilk standard, some to Twardi (or what a hell it is the name is) and so far it is so good, because most of paret are the same. but to that add Leopar 2A4, 2A4PL, Abrams M1 (export version) and now they are adding K2PL..... Plus their stock of T-54/55 variants...

What we do know is NATO and Ukraine both have more tanks than russia now....and those numbers keep getting greater.....especially as Russia has lost about 12 tanks every day it has been in Ukraine on average for the last 2 years...the T-55s and T-54s showing up on the battlefield for russia proves it is running out.....

Public has lost track. Military knows. Likely None T-72's are left. At least no working ones. Some PT-91's are left but likely will go to Ukraine eventually. And "hahaha Poland has no tanks now" Poland still has more tanks than Germany after getting rid of ~400 of them. And now most of them are not obsolete shit. Since war in Ukraine started Poland took shipments of ~100 tanks, and these shipments are ongoing for next 2-3 years regularly every couple months. T-72M1 had very low value in modern battlefield, useful for Ukraine for supporting infantry but nothing besides that.
