In (American) football, if a runner falls without contact from the defense, he can get up and run unless he's touched while down, so that play at15:17 needed to be made. At 19:03, did you not know Bo Jackson was an incredibly strong man? That can't be Charles Barkley at 21:38, he never played for the Bulls, only the 76ers, Suns and Rockets.

Competitors should understand unsportsmanlike like behavior as being disrespectful. But sometimes it is taken too far. In soccer they stopped letting us even wear a bow in our hair with the team colors. How does a bow hurt feelings?

Not a big surprise. I joined a "friendly old guys" softball league once and to be different put fuchsia colored laces in my cleats. Half the guys on my team wouldn't sit next to me after that. No wonder girls drop out of some sports before they're 25, why bother.

Pre-fight shenanigans are almost always 'fake.' It is traditional to generate hype by talking shit, shoving, throwing a punch, and generally just exhibiting disrespect. Usually one will clearly be the Face and the other the Heel. Anything to get attention and put asses in seats.

Just sanction players and teams afterwards with video review (maybe even fan-based). 5 fouls/dives = 1 goal for the opponent team in football / 15 points in basketball. Unsportsmanship would stop in weeks.

Dumbest rules need to change in the swimming event. So what he crossed over his lap was clearly over and the guy next to him that he went into was done so it shouldn't have made any difference as it was no interference to anyone. Who cares if not everyone completed race if they were many lanes away it had no effect on their time. So dumb. Whoever came up with that rule has no brains and no common sense. Need to get rid of that rule or use their discretion.
