I think you guys forget that cats are literally meant to live in the wild. They were living in the wild before humans started taking them in. They don’t need to be under human care to survive. You also forget they could be sick,have a disease, or maybe even have worms. If you saw a squirrel walking on the sidewalk would you just go take it in?

A lot of male stray cats used do this to the females from where I live. But now my dogs keep barking at them while pushing the females behind them, and the males they run off. The stray females like to follow us around, one reason is because I feed them, the other is probably to play with my dogs. My dogs (they're huskies btw) don't mind. They sometimes bring their plushies with them when we go for a walk, as if expecting the cats to show up. Then my huskies let the cats play with the plushies while they keep a lookout for those males.

The male likely fought in the past for territory dominance or mating dominance. Female cats live together in groups called colonies consisting of mostly a family unit of mothers and daughters with the exception of occasional females from outside the family tree. These colonies roam from area to area but stop their travels when it’s mating season, also around the time when they give birth to kittens. They take this time to raise the kits before shooing off the sons and continuing to raise their daughters to stay within the colony. The sons go out in the world to do things just like the male shown in this video. Similar to some shark species, a single cat litter does not contain the genes of just one male cat. Rather, it is of the female and a whole number of males that got lucky. Females are picky this way, choosing good looking and healthy toms to sire the kits. Scars are a good sign of strength and dominance in the animal world, but a ragged and dirty pelt definitely is not. Take this info as you will. Edit: Seeing as how this informational comment has gotten quite a bit of attention I would like to note something: these are animals, and they do not reflect human behavior, personality, morals, or the future of human society. I can promise everyone here that this male is just doing what he has to do. Do I agree that the female should be allowed to roam around being harassed and not getting spayed? Fuck no, you cruel idiots. It's only natural for things like this to happen in wild cats, but if you're a human, and you have the power to improve an animal's life, PLEASE IMPROVE THE ANIMAL'S LIFE. That's the opposite with my 2 cats Jordan and Blacky both of them used to be strays cause I found them as kittens and my family took them to the vet and got them fixed I had so many stray female cats or even my neighbors cat go near Jordan and Blacky cause they want to mate with them but cause they're so used to being outside alot cause they were stray kittens my family found in the street not even in the street 1 was in a shed and the other was at great wolf lodge they tend to get into fights with female cats even male cats as well also a few facts about cats if a cat was ever born as a stray cat or was fathered by a stray cat then it's possible that the cat would start to act like they own the place even if other cats were there longer then them or another possibly why a cat sometimes attack other cats is if they been in the area longer then other cats then they would feel like they own the place or a third possibility if the cat was born as the biggest in a litter they would feel like they're the boss of everyone even though it's normally the owners that are the boss so there are the three possible reasons why sometimes a cat would attack other cats

My family has two cats, one is a year old and the other around 7 years. Oldest is male, youngest is female. They don't quite get along, so they keep their distance. The old cat has a bunch of chicks that like to follow him when he is let out the house, but he mainly just ignores them. I'm glad he isn't like these males here!

I love kitten and cats, I've got 3 cats and one is blind. But so many kitten die a really bad way, and so many cats are homeless. The best way to avoid this is spaying and neutering. My blind cat would have died, but I took her with me to Switzerland and brought her to a special vet. I know it's not easy everywhere to do it like this , but the way it could work better.

I raised a lady dog once in my hostel campus..she was the miracle child as all her siblings died very young due to seme disease in a matter of 2-3 days..only she survived..i took care of her in the premises..From literally an infant puppy to a full grown adult.. While my masters got over.. It was heartbreaking to see all old haggy male dogs going after her all the time..tailing her..she couldn't even eat properly..She was so stressed out at that time..she would constantly sit down to avoid those dogs ganging up behind her and sometimes even hides behind me and waits while I shoo em away... I hope my baby is safe out there and free of diseases😢

@@extremesoutherngal I have a big cage for my cats. I put them there before I go to sleep. Luna doesn't like being in it and she fights with my other cats that's why I don't put her in there. She likes to explore outside at night but in the morning she stays inside the house. The male cats that I have mentioned were strays or cats of the neighbors who like to hang out in our garden causing our dogs to bark😩 I will have her and my other female cat spayed when I get a job😅 I already opened this up to my mom but she said that we've already spent a lot of money on them so...

Очень жалко кошечку она явна вымотана и хочет отдознуть от них, а они преследуют её.. Ты очень добрыц человек раз помогаешь ей нормально покушать! Ты очень добрый и милый одновременно! Я тоже помогаю иногда кошкам которые убегают в криках от самцов.. Даже бывало самцы пытались спариваться с котятами .. Им возможно было 4-5 месяцев, я настолько испугался и забрал их к себе, сейчас они находяться в любящей семье где чувствуют себя в безопасности

She probably slapped him so hard that he lost an eye. He’s still bleeding and hasn’t stopped pursuing her in an attempt to mate. Someone needs to capture him and take him to the vet for his eye (they should also spay him while they’re at it before he loses the other eye).
