Kevin, I just want to tell you that recently I have had to start doing my own lawn. I'm 63 and lost my husband almost 3 years ago. My point is that by watching and listening to you I have learned a lot! Like learning to drive the zero turn mower, using hedge trimmers and weed eating is still hard for me but practice makes perfect so thank you for what you do and teach! It's more than you realize! I love what you do for the greater good. One side note, you said you had ear infections and can't hear out of one ear. I am very hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. I read lips to help. But when people wear beards and have hair covering the bottom lip makes it really hard to read lips. Just FYI. I don't know how attached you are to big beard but just so you know.

You were the first one I started watching for lawn mowing. About a year ago, I bought my first house on my own. I wanted to get some tips on how to cut my lawn and make it look professional. My ex used to be the one to cut and trim. In the meantime, I've enjoyed what you stand for and the advice you give while still having fun. I like these videos, for several reasons 1.) they’re relaxing and calm my anxiety down before I go to bed. This and pressure washing, carpet cleaning etc. 2.) you’re helping people out and doing some giving back to the community 3.) I only watch ads for select channels, and it’s nice to see that the 30-sec/1-min of my time, every time I watch the ads is going towards potentially preventing someone going into debt over a bit of grass.

I’ve had my pottery business for about 20+ years and I have quite a few things I should be doing and haven’t. Things that weigh on me and worry me. You’ve inspired me to do a better job at properly running things and being a boss. And about repeating yourself, my students told me that it’s ok to repeat what you know cause people don’t hear the whole message the first or second time. People absorb things in parts, and for UKposts, they may not go back and watch every or any past videos so repeat away. Your message is solid and valid. Thank you for all you’re doing.

I watch you on both channels even tho my son can not understand watching someone mowing lawns. I enjoy listening to your voice. Your enthusiasm about what you do and your willingness to give suggestive advice on how to start a lawmmowing business. BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE it is heart warming to see there is still a few people in the world who value helping others because it is the right thing to do. And it sounds like the good Lord agrees with me since ,from what I gather from this blog(?) , you are able to help others and STILL PROVIDE DECENTLY for your family. You are blessed and I hope it never ends. P.S. thanks to you, my son no longer fights me about mowing the backyard yard. We didn't know/realize you could do large areas with a weedeater. You get a feeling of completing a project and can step back and see a job well done. I’m 67 now with COPD and I can no longer mow. Watching this has been an investment in myself. Your right on commentary and I downloaded Babylon On The Hill from your suggestion because of what you’ve said so far. I know your parents must be proud. I’m heaeded over to Cabin on the Hill after this. I sent this to my son to watch. He’s battled with PTSD since Iraq. He’s much better after returning 14 years ago. I just started watching your channel a few weeks ago and enjoy watching them. I lost my husband of 48 years last year and been in deep depression over it. We met when I was 13 and six years later we got married. I've been so lonely and he started a few projects and now I'm trying to figure out how to finish them. I watch a lot of UKposts and came across yours and truely love what you do. I like doing yard work and use to help the neighbors, but with my age going up, I'm unable to help them and try and concentrate on my own yard now. That spider is called a wolf spider. They are called that because if you look at it's head straight on it looks like a wolf's face. They get to be very large. I have seen one with a leg pattern 4 to 5 inches. They are beneficial to home owners because they are voracious bug eaters. If one gets inside your house, scoop it up in a jar and release it outside. Killing one could result in a large nauseating mess to clean up.

That tree is *paper mulberry*, and it is an extremely fast-growing and invasive ornamental that was brought from the pakistan area. The other ones by the stump your tire dropped into look like "tree of heaven" *ailanthus*, which is another very invasive ornamental. I have two paper mulberries that I left in my backyard that came up from suckers from my neighbor across the alley. Every backyard on my alley is either filled with paper mulberries or has to fight them constantly. I kept mine because they quickly covered some of the fence, and they can be pruned up into decent looking trees. BUT all summer long I have to pull the suckers that come up all over my yard. They grow faster than the grass needs to be mowed. You can read about why it's "paper" mulberry on wikipedia; like a lot of invasives, paper mulberry and ailanthus were brought here because some smart idiot thought that being that fast-growing would be a good thing for an ornamental. Side-note: I have a number of small industrial facilities (basically shipping containers w/powered equipment inside) with chainlink fences, and we weld all of the nuts on the gates for exactly the reason you show in the beginning! With a little patience and a crescent wrench you can get through them. (post-video edit: I will check out cabin-on-the-hill :)

I turned 50 last year and I am still surprised by that most days. 🤣 I've owned a couple of businesses in years past and I do not disagree with a lick of the advice you're giving to folks. As you know by now I am one of those weirdos that I just happen to enjoy watching you do what you do. I do not watch any other channels like this either. It's all you. I think you have a good attitude most of the time. When you think you don't have anything to say, that's when I'd say your attitude isn't exactly positive. Try not to discredit yourself like that. I believe God talks through you in ways you do not yet understand. What I say to you is to open yourself up to the possibility that what you have to say does not come from you and just start to speak and see what happens. See where you are led and flow with it. I feel like you very well could be amazed. Keep being a good son to your parents as well. I imagine that this "Cain On The Hill" will one day be your legacy. 😉

It's easy to get lots of positivity when you are doing positive things, having a positive influence, and expressing positive thoughts. Anyone that throws hate your way is just so full of negativity that they can't even appreciate the slightest amount of positivity. If we had more people like you, this world would be a much better place.

I have watched other lawn mowing videos and I am not saying they don't work hard because they do. But you won my heart when you and your family cleaned up a cemetery, put flags on the grave sites and washed the stones. You showed such respect it was beautiful.

"Cabin on The Hill". I've got so much I want to say, but to keep short and sweet, you're awesome and your take on life and business is very interesting, informative and inspirational. Due to things out of my control, I can no longer be very physically active as before and I'm needing to find a new path to walk.....BUT, I'm not dead yet and I've been kicking around starting a new adventure. Anyone else remember seeing this property cleaned up about a year ago? I remember it. Do not remember who did it, but this was one of the first properties I watched when I started watching lawn care channels. The overgrowth was 3 times worse than it is in this video. Juggernaut got lucky actually. The area around the backside of the garage on both sides of the fence was so much higher and thicker. Plus, there was a bunch of debris on the back side of garage on the front patio by the door. Nice to see there is more than one person taking care of eye sores.

I think you are thinking of my video with the tornado shelter in the backyard. That property was a mess or it could have been the one I did with my dad. I have shown this job on my other channel as well though

Yes I remember the house. This is footage from back in September. It's up on the boring channel. He had donated all the proceeds from it to help someone else that was in need. I completely get why he is posting this now. Winter is not a kind time for YT lawncare channels. Still great content and got my thumbs up.

As you said it could use bagging in the end. If you could find someone to come in and go over the yard after you get done with it and bag the clippings then if you could find someone who could donate their time to spray the yard for weeds and stuff to help out all these yards so make it less likely to grow back that be good. When you want to get rid of the standup let me know i could use one since my 76" zero turn is too large to do a lot of the free stuff I do.

Yes, the oils can be aerosolized. I wasn't allergic to poison oak. Worked on a construction crew. Being the only crew member who didn't react to the stuff, I offered to cut a trail through a huge patch move than head high. Bad idea. I inhaled the vapor and ended up with not just a bad case of poison oak (think forearm so swollen that the skin was oozing fluid). I was so sensitized that i couldn't be within several hundred feet of the plant. Finally got desensitizing shots (which are no longer available - at least in my state). Also, DO NOT TRY TO BURN this stuff; it will aerolosize this stuff and you can inhale the vapors.

That one little house behind this one also looks overgrown. Is this an old neighborhood, with elderly residents who are no longer physically able to maintain or afford to hire maintenance people. If so, that always seems so sad to me; no relatives or no family to help and no neighbors able to help.

When I was a child a neighbor who was new to the US burned a big pile of brush containing Poison Ivy, he died within a few days.

1st UKposts comment ever,,, you and your dad are Awesome Thankyou for all the hours of company. After my husband died, the city notices had me outside doing yard work on a 2acre block from. Sun up to sun down It took 6 years to get it ready to sell. Now that I have NO lawns I still feel the pressure of having to be busy all day. When I watch your channel I relax with a coffee and enjoy you two doing the work lol. You are a very rare breed of person to help so many people. Good on you! I love both of your channels.❤

Yup "cabin on the hill" I retired a couple years ago. Then i kinda tuned into the on site landscaper and for our community. Going to pick up a 0-turn mower this Spring. We have about 4 acres of common areas with some walking trails. I can only watch UKposts so long then I got to do something. I enjoy your content. Thanks

Even though this was a year ago I just started watching your channel and your dad’s channels and love you guys. Not many people in this world like your family and it does my heart good to see you helping others for free. When you painted that home for free and the tears of joy that pour from her eyes, what an Amazing thing to do. Remember there will always be haters in this world but for sure Gods got your back always. I appreciate your efforts. I really enjoy watching an overgrown lawn getting cut back. My grandfather owned a big lot in Clarkstone GA. We cut it every summer. Gravely with a 24 inch rotary cutter. Picking up trash. Getting stung by yellow jackets.

Well, I started out by throwing some stuff in the back of my dad’s truck. And actually some of the stuff was his stuff. But you work with what you got. You get paid, you go to the store and buy something that you are borrowing or that you need like different attachments for your weed eater.

Love your videos! Glad your doc figured out it was fungal. So many don't think of that and my cousin had major infections every year and the antibiotic he was on just made his ears worse! Finally found a doc who diagnosed it correctly!
