​​​​@@Elyrium42They exist in Halo Infinite. Spartan bots using the Chimera Core: The Executors. Source: Halo: Fracture Firewall. Canonized by the last issue of Firewall in Halo Waypoint and the subsequent Canon Fodder confirming it to be true. The first Executor is the guy from the terminals of Halo Reach, was forcefully converted by The Created into a mindless Spartan assassin. I don't know if it is possible but one could theoretically make an Executor firefight mode by making them normal or lower difficulty, spawn a bunch of Spartan bots using that core with Forge and have them fight the player alongside sentinels. I have not checked Forge for a while so I'm not sure if that's possible. Also, if it is possible to mess with their stats then one could crank their health and shield several times while delaying and slowing any sort of recharge timer to have a Chimera boss, only problem might be the boss picking up equipment but if you can set it by default then one could give it a thruster or a repulsoe because anything else could be too broken to fight against while in a numerical disadvantage.

I'm not joking. 343i stated it outright, all the Fracture Firewall posts were canonized as simulations and in the end of the last issue the first Executor was born, created by Sloan and given to The Assembly as a sort of offering of peace, the first Chimera core user. Some of the Infinite's armor for Chimera might not be canon like the Wendigo set but some of the others like the base armor is. The thing is, that happened a little after Cortana's true death so they might have made more Executors. The MERCURY helmet description is also a hint at that as the helmet was designed for The Created for reasons unknown, because the UNSC doesn't know yet of the Chimera armor and the Executors. The next game's Multiplayer story will likely touch upon that bit as using fake Spartans seems like a considerably less dangerous approach to The Created than bringing back the Prometheans, also less expensive considering the Armigers used by Prometheans cost god knows how many resources they lost after they lost Access to the domain with Cortana's death. Also, it is hinted heavily during Firewall that Sloan is only going through this approach because he wants to mass produce the symbiosis that Chief and Cortana had for military purposes and general Created survivability. The FIREWALL protocol wouldn't have gone through if Cortana had not died. Because she was never going to allow the Created to forcefully abduct people into another Spartan program. She stated several times her dislike for the program that Halsey realized even if she knew the results justified it all. In Halo 4 she even has a few lines berating her for destroying the Chief's life while spewing out her mind with rampancy. In other words, Sloan is only going through this because there's no one anymore to force him to not do it. He can get away with what he wants. Pawn Spartans that can be replaced faster than the Spartan-III program ever hoped it could. It also has a bit of a human shield aspect to it as the more Executors that fall, the more innocent people the Created will abduct to fill the ranks again. Giving this situation urgency. Not to mention Wendigo and Halo Epitaph hinting at The Created going full biomechanical horror although nothing is confirmed in that bit... Yet... Buy Halo Epitaph. Must read. Unironically radically changed the lore and the future of Halo for the time being.

@steelbear2063 yeah halo is totally dead apparently 😏 Sure it's definitely different and not like the good ol days, but it's not dead, and definitely not as popular, but I dunno why popular matters to people, it's still a decent and fun live service game. And believe me, it's rare to see a live service game done well or even continue support after a none successful launch.
