I have nothing but respect for this woman. She stars in these transparently overhyped movies, brings the minimum mandated enthusiasm to the press junkets, and makes sure the cash got to her bank account. Then, maybe she will make a movie she actually enjoys. it's her job and those mansions aren't getting any cheaper, man.

This is hilarious but one thing that I came away with after seeing Madame Webb was how it corresponded to comic books before the MCU. I grew up reading comics in the 90's and comic books were definitely not the cool thing. You would be made fun of for being into that stuff. But us comic book readers ultimately knew that most marvel comics were silly and campy. And pretty stupid a lot of the time. And I think the MCU fans are now realizing how campy and dumb they actually are. Super hero fatigue plays into it as well just with the volume of movies being too much. But the marvel movies made it cool at least for awhile. So for me Madame Webb was a lot of fun. But i accepted it for what it is.
