I want to recommend a channel about making armor. The armor makes medieval defense for museum exhibits, paintings and archaeological finds. I recommend watching a video about making a tournament knight's helmet. / @armorysmithworkshop
On my patreon page, I began to explain the processes and secrets of my work. Topics already covered:
1. Why do I add pepper to container Damascus steel.
2. What do I sprinkle? Flux and its composition.
3. How do I remove the container from the workpiece (container Damascus steel).
4. Why am I drilling a hole in a container.
5. Why do I sweep away the dross from the anvil with my hand.
6. Why do I first forge some blanks on a tree.
7. In what and why do I soak the blank before forging.
8. In which granules do I place the workpiece after forging.
9. What kind of white powder do I pour into the container.

My favorite Hibiscus drink is for those hot days when you really need something to put some life back into you. Use fresh brewed tea, sweetened to taste with white grape juice, then poured over crushed ice with some muddled fresh mint. It will change your frame of mind. Nice knife. :)

@shmaknapublar 2 роки тому
@@wildstallion2.048 There are many distributors for dried hibiscus flowers sold as tea. Find the best, most trusted source you can afford. We used to have a local vendor here in Austin that would sell fresh brewed at festivals and also sold the flowers in bulk for you to take home. That's where I learned the white grape juice and mint trick.

I'm always fascinated by these type of videos. I worked at a machine shop, more specifically in quality control. I'm very familiar with the testing of various medals. I also know the benefits of some metals over some, but I'll admit I don't know what would make the best blade. I find damascus so interesting. I'd love to see some videos describing the different processes and metals used and how they compare to others when tested. I know some will have better uses for some things, and there is a good middle ground not the best at any but solid at anything mix too. I'd love to know the results.
