This was an amazing episode. I’m sorry to see the series end. I was inexplicably drawn to the character Franklin since the first episode.

I've just finished binge-watching from series 3 to the end. So many amazing performances, and the story was Shakespearean in its universality. In from the UK, so it was educational about social and political history of the USA. Plus: it made me like/love ALL the characters SO much that I didn't want harm to come to any of them - even Teddy!!

It was a great show with a powerful message. I kept getting stuck at like the 2nd episode because it seemed like a cliché about a smart drug dealer ultimately coming to some demise from either a power trip or betrayal. It gets interesting towards the end of season 2 as you see Franklin go through crazy character transformation. I love the main cast, too.

His acting reminded me of 2 actors. Denzel when he did American gangster and Chiwetel Ejiofor when he played the gangster boss in 4 Brothers.

Amazing show and great finale.

The fuck, I was not happy with the things wrapped up 😂. It was a great ending, don't get me wrong, be we all wanted him to get his money and get out. Phenomenal show and Damson played the part like he was actually living it. Dude made the character real and got us all emotionally invested in the story. Even the "side characters" were great. Crazy how he ended up just like his dad, the person he grew up hating. I was glad to see Leon make it out well tho, always liked him, he did what he had to do but he never really wanted to.

Having watched the final season … to say it was outstanding and amazing just isn’t enough. Damson Iris’s acting skills left me with no words other than to say … it couldn’t sleep after it was over. He wins it all hands down! The other actors … just Wow! Black actors and actresses are tremendous when given the opportunity. We spend the dollars … now let’s get black movie theatres. We need to recognize our own … recreate black owned acting studios … these actors go unrecognized and over-shadowed by mediocre white Hollywood. We need … must have Black Hollywood!

After watching all 6 episodes here are my thoughts of Snowfall. Just desserts. They all got what they deserved. Franklin is a monster in love with money only. He got his criminality from his mamie. Hers was deep-seated but came out when they were making bank. Jerome, Louie, Teddy, all criminals. I never liked Veronique from day one. Leon & Wanda also got what they deserved, a happy life. They had feels & hearts and went through it but were smart & strong enough to survive. They were the most likable characters for me. Gustavo survived & ended up doing what he liked. Sad that Alton didn’t make it. His heart was in the right place. Sissy may have saved him initially, but she and their demon seed helped end him. It was an excellent drama and I was hooked from beginning to end. Saw the whole thing in 2 weeks. Was happy to see the master author, Walter Moseley was a huge contributor.

If you guys seen American Gangster you would know what im talking about. 😂 See that movie and see Snowfall and compare both characters and they are very similar in a way of thier demeanor.
