A very well deserved win from Okuhara. However if she aims for the Olympic again she needs to have some kind of winner shot. It is what will sets her apart from TTY. On another note, Marin seems to finally recover physically but not mentally. Hopefully she will be on her prime again in the Olympic. I have the impression C. Marin lost to herself here, coming back on court after so long seem to require more mental adjustments.. She doesnt seem to try controlling the drift or absorb her opponent consistent playstyle, making TONs of unforced errors (showed during the week).. those are signs she's a bit rusty despite having that physical peak form. The overconfidence of the Olympic champ backfired this time with her choosing the side to start from. Nozomi-chan managed very well on her backhands clears, proper length on it is not something you see often from her. She didn't had to change game plan this time with the score pattern comforting her. You can really see how little energy she has spend during the week. Overall all players look refreshed by the forced hiatus and they are enjoying coming back!

Congrats Nozomi, and Marin played great as usual , Nozomi finally learned how to hit the shuttle without giving away her shot. Before she would start he shot with her arm leading he shot and top players new where the shuttle was going. Nozomi is as any player alive now. People think im krazy Watch her older matches and the match against Michelle li, Was playing great and hitting great and Nozomi crushed her. And Marin who I love to watch was playing as good as she has ever played. The Japanese team is being done dirty by the Korean head coach. That is the only reason the Koreans were beating Japan. He has them practising playing defence while the rest of the world is practising hitting with there wrist. And I have been saying this for 2 yrs. Now I hope Japan see"s what going o and ships that guy back to Korea. Watch the Nagahra, Matumoto vs Fukushima, Hirota they were playing like crap. Then I here Matsumoto saying im helping Fukuhiro, and that made me mad so I just said I have been telling Nagamatsu how bad they been playing and what Mastumoto is doing wrong. I just said I can only tell you what you are doing wrong, I cant play for you, even Fukuhiro has been playing terrible. (All japan players have been playing lousy) I ,also told Mastumoto she said she wanted to things there way after winning the world championship. and getting all the attention They both started thinking it was there right to win and people should roll over for them.
