Dead Island 2 is a first-person action role-playing game developed by Techland and published by Deep Silver. It is the sequel to 2011's Dead Island and 2013's Dead Island: Riptide. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic Los Angeles and follows four survivors as they try to find a way to escape the city.
Dead Island 2 features a new and improved combat system, as well as a more open-ended world than its predecessors. Players will be able to explore the city at their own pace, and take on side quests and activities in addition to the main story. The game also features a new co-op mode that allows up to four players to play together online.
Dead Island 2 is scheduled to be released in 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
